Master Chief is all over UT3 mods. I'm sure only the more creative and talented can pull it off but, I hope it does happen. I want to make a guy look like Indiana Jones. Make him a whip to hold and stuff. Good times.
it lacked a split screen quick game though. It also lacked custom sound tracks. Both of which seem to be getting fixed. The second should have more customization too.
What the first one did right was done REALLY REALLY right though. The gameplay was some of the most intense driving I've ever had in a game. I can't count the time I shouted "OMG WTF .... Holy Hell ... Did you see that! That car just blew up and flipped over mine!"
Just give me some split scr...
then that's fantastic. Bubbles for educating the uninformed.
more like, "You ever play and like a Mario game? Well you can make your own Mario if you want with this game. You can add a timer. You can add enimies. You can make it team based. You can paste your own pictures into the level that you import. You can then share your levels online and have them rated? You can play other levels that people create. You can make a Halo level if you want. You can make a level dedicated to the beauty of your GF. YOU HAVE UNLIMITED CREATIVITY AND POSSIBILITES ...
when you get addicted to creating and sharing your own levels. You'll get to play and critique others as well. This game is great because it has an appeal to all types of gamers including the hardcore.
Should not make a game, GOTY. I don't understand how you can know how important innovation and creativity are yet you dismiss this game as Meh? I'm not disagreeing with you as it's your opinion but, I think you're being a little shortsighted.
GTA4, MGS4, GEoW for game of the year already. Honestly, I think LBP could be the sleeper hit that takes the stage this year. What game is as ambitious and innovative? I understand the other games I listed are amazing titles that have new gameplay mechanics but, they're still (to some extent) a rehashing of what we've seen before. Anyone played a game like LBP?
was a solid 30 FPS the whole game. It never dipped below that though. As long as they can do that again, I don't really care.
had really nice textures as well. It's one of the reasons the game was so acclaimed for so long. I would say those two games are the best on a console though.
Home isn't going to require a download. The PS3 already has what it needs in it's end. It's only a network addition that Sony has to put in place.
I want the store to already know what I've bought. I remember most of what I've bought but sometimes I forget because I won't play a game for a while and then I'll pick it up later.
Other then this, the store was much easier to navigate and looked 10x better too.
What's with the "one in every 50" people thing they said would happen?
It's the major reason I didn't get Lair. Then again if they were that big of a deal, why did Spiderman, Transformers and Pirates sell well? Mostly because of name recognition and advertising. Games like Army of Two sold well and had nothing to do with the quality of the game. That game was all over the TV. Same thing with Assassins Creed. Mixed reviews and stellar sales. Commercials all over the place.
Reviews can help a game and can hurt a game but, proper advertising and name r...
would be a nice welcome. Kickstart my Heart would be another cool one.
"When I get high I get high on speed ..."
all I could think of after reading your post was Skittles and Lucky Charms.
HAHAHHHHAHHAAAAA MWAAAHAHAHAHA ...
You've got to be kidding me right. An opinion article as fact. Please mark this one down so when you use it I can point out how out of it you looked in this thread as well as the future one.
Do you think that might be because there are not many people using it? Aren't a lot of the features left out too?
I'm mostly stoked on Ingame XMB. I want Home but, Sony is really dragging their feet on this one.
all the companies fighting over the sports void. I would love to see some creative and fun sports titles again.
the fan noise argument is as lame as the "more people in Live" argument. Same goes with the RROD argument. If you own both consoles you obviously don't worry about the RROD. One more time for clarity, I don't agree with those PS3 fans and their arguments.
People on both sides are making stupid comparisons and reasons to own one over the other. Fact of the matter is, both versions will be fun as hell and, the only real factor in this decision for people who own both cons...
Sigma, HS and The Darkness because of their demo's. I was probably going to buy Drakes Fortune without a demo as well but, playing it only solidified my purchase.
I can see how releasing a crappy demo might not be beneficial to a game but, how many crappy demo's have you played for great games? I highly doubt a demo has ever hurt a quality title.
I know I've not bought a game because of a demo too though. I've been turned off by almost every sports game demo out. Tha...
I've never been interested in this game. I don't know why, I really just don't care all that much about it. The delays didn't help an already uninterested position either. A demo might change my mind though. A couple good reviews couldn't hurt either. I was interested in the story more then anything else since, I think EGM, said the game dared to treat us like adults.
Who knows ...
Edit: I also agree about the "licking the ass of Sony" part. I may be a PS3...
