Best news ever.

Shadow of the Colossus is one of those few Video Games that deserves a true successor or a remake. The game is one of the best products of video games ever made.

Sorry I don't buy the hype, Bungie.

It's interesting to have a sequel with improvement on a great game when such improvement signifies a leap. However no developer will dares to make a game with the same graphics, same level of detail, same game play mechanics and PVP limitations. Bungie is doing a DLC release with the name Destiny 2 Why not dedicated servers? Why not adopt the PVP server style made in the game Overwatch? Why have random cyclic levels and random pla...

Valve is not here to be your friend.

Valve preserved the PC Video Game market economically viable. Steam provided a concrete solution to the rampant piracy that many are affected directly and indirectly.

Yes, Valve is not intended to be your friend but they did somethings other didn't. They kept the PC gaming rolling with steam. They had a project and a vision. Everything takes economical resources. Valve is not a charity company but at least they ho...

A game is not successful just for being open world.

A game is successful if such open world game is Horizon Zero Down or Witcher 3. Horizon zero settled the standard for open world games. It was balanced, non repetitive and well distributed. The game achieved an amazing well coordinated tempo. Open world games will be the natural path to follow but such technological feature doesn't make a game great. Open world games are very hard to develop and they require a lot of ...

Sony will show us Days Gone for sure. Their library is very strong for this E3. Besides they store few surprises for the E3 event. Sony will not loose momentum.

It's a good watch.

Sony is not addressing the issue of such support. There is no point getting a second console if such console doesn't represents a significant leap on graphic performance on the same generation. Even if clients hand in the ps4 for a ps4 pro there must be a graphical upgrade significantly enough to justify 130 dollars.

Sony must not play deaf ears with these issues. They will leave a bad sour if their attitude is apathy towards their clients. Microsoft is pushing hard on...

Announcement in 2019 for PS5

Launch in 2020 for PS5

These decisions will be more comfortable for Sony if they really want to hit 60 frames per second in 4k. At that date they could easily could perform at 80 frames per second in the new hardware. Sony needs to derive profits on the PS4 first. At this point they are doing an exceptional job. Sony most stick to game releases, sequels and delivery.

EA, you hired a C team of clumsy developers who never made a game before. This is what you get.

Simple.

No.

EA charged a full price tag of a "released game" when the development was on a very premature beta stage.

Great video games doesn't need the marketing crutch of sex.

Horizon Zero Dawn.
Warframe.
Shadows of the Colossus
The Last Guardian.
The Witness.

These games focuses on the mechanics and replay value without that marketing. Yes, sex makes sales, but it doesn't make a video game great.

Here is a problem that not many understand.

Video games should focus on gaming and game play quality. For other types of capitalization of entertainment there are other sources for such entertainments. Video game should focus and stay focused on the classical scheme of: game design, level design, character customization, role playing elements, retro feedback responses, difficulty, puzzle solving, plan-strategy-tactics, rpg elements, level of detail, interaction with the cha...

After the apocalyptic biblical fiasco made with Andromeda looks like EA is ready to conclude BioWare's studio.

Some heads needs to roll after such blunder. That's life.

This is a well written article that worth a good read.

"Sakurai then gave some more thoughts about comparing the two open-world titles. “Overall, Horizon is more stress free and Zelda is becoming a tiresome routine. However, if you’ve played Zelda, you probably understand this well: the chores of Zelda are the most fun part!” Sakurai wrote."

This is an incredibly well written article. It goes straight to the point explaining the differences between...

When contenders becomes good the outcome increases quality. Despite the heavy speculation and suppositions on the clickbait article, the second attempt of Microsoft seems to be aimed at the true nature of a consoles. Microsoft is dedicating an effort to build a game machine this time around.

Yes, Microsoft conferences are all around good and well planed. Their marketing dexterity is amazing and their programmed presentations are a tour the force for the University Marketing...

"i would have preferred a story that grabbed my attention instead of making me superclick through this nonsensical dialogue system. and maybe next time hire a (better? did they already hire one for the first one?) professional writer who is not burnt-out and still has got ideas."

Story telling games on any given game works as a justification for the existence of the game. Story telling in an interactive medium must recognize the attrib...

This is how a compromised company supports their delivery.

Guerilla Games delivered a great concept and turned a good game into something better. It's surprising to see a company take shape into something reliable, competent and consistent. Many should follow the philosophy of GG.
They are attending their business correctly and delivering over their achieved goals. Who in our current times does this?
What company supports their game product caring for ...

Sony made the bet on games and such bet became successful for this generation.
The generation is not over, Microsoft can do something on these three years.

Sony has different policies handling games and their franchises.
Microsoft brands hit titles and focuses on hardware architecture.

In the end you get two good choices but in the long run the crown belongs to variety, quality and diversity in a game library. Microsoft redeeming busines...

Yarbie1000:

At this point piracy is practically infantile. Youtube provides full walk through every single game including the developers fanfare. There are many ways to play games or even test demos for free. You could easily swap discs with a friend, purchase the game on a cheap flea market or wait for price drops.

There is no need to hurl boycotts on developers when their job was more than satisfactory. Piracy at this point is irrelevant when there are...
