Services requires maintenance, personnel, server space, rent where those servers are, electricity and security. Those things are not for free.
You can download games and have PSN for one month. You can sustain any of these services according to your wallet. These are optional. You can play single player games without internet at all. The PS4 doesn't exclude the possibility of having fun.

The three classes works well, the enemies are greatly improved in detail and AI. The bosses and the runs are very interesting. However, the maps must be larger and allow more exploration without these boundary barriers.
The cooling on the grenades is way too much. The cooling of the super is exaggerated making the super incidental and useless. It takes out all the fun on these powers. The movement of the characters are way too slow and there are no parkour for more maneuver...

I'll wait a long time to see how the game develops. It is wiser to see all the DLC and wait for the full edition and the reviews.
Putting the article aside, the new hardware is capable and a good addition to the consoles and PC. However if I want to add an XONEX to the PC, PS4 set of platforms, at least the XONEX must attain exclusive games. Right now Microsoft most focus on giving a life to the XONEX with exclusive titles.

There will be a difference because the first trailer was a confirmation of the game concept. The real game design is the second image at the right. Eventually there will be some reductions in the level of detail however the concept, game play and game idea is amazing. I'm sure Marvel, Insomniac and Sony will do a great job providing an amazing experience like the success of Horizon Zero Down.
I'm sure Insomniac will deliver, they have along record of successes.
