Have a friend he bought a wii cause he din't know how to use a PS controler. After a while, he keep saying: "I love my wii, but the games are (grim). I brought him on my PS2, and we try couple of games, not long after he wanted a PS2. Got one, buy GOW 1 and 2. Now he is happy he can still play wii, and on the other console play good games. I believe Natal and the ps3 "a la wii" new controller have teach them something.
Keep the PS2 and bring up the slim at 200$ bundle with Metal Gear + Killzone 2.

The console is nothing, the games are everything to people.
Just think the first Nintendo without a game, was just a grey box. No it came with the super hit Super Mario Bros. Look at the Wii now, people buy it because it come with a game Wii sport. Even old people buy it to play bowling. Why people buy so much Xbox, cause it come mostly with games. Now the Metal gear + Killzone 2 bundle for PS3 is out, I can't find it in 5 best buy near me.

it's sad cause they have the best console and offer the most. But there is not much of a desire on their behalf to lower the price. But I don't believe SOny is in bas situation, cause the PS1-PS2 did so well, they made a whole bunch of money. So seeing the console war, the winner is SONY all the way.
If you put the number of PS3 sold x 400$ and compare to the 360 at 200$ you will see who is making money.
There is a whole bunch waiting for price cut on ps3 and I am one of them.
