I agree, but PS2 is so retard vs PS3, when you get a PS2 do you still play PS1 games? They said they do survey about what gamer wanted, some told them they do not wanted PS2 games, most of them already have pS2 console, so it they can reduce price on it, good for them, but I expect 40GB to cost 350$ US.
It say 40gb to compte ELITE at same price. So Elite here is 450$, 400$ 40gb will not been seen yet.
Minus the USB - Card - EE, they should have save enough to make the 40gb 300$ to really compte, but they will learn there too.

PS3 is able to massive production, day one in UK was the day that the most consoles where sell even (even the Halo 3 did not help sell that much X-Bush) 1 000 000 unit sold in one day in UK....

Ya great the article speak about the x360 hadware failure, I guess sony was thinking he his been beyond the competitors with PS2, but did not think they have to reinvent themselve, I can tell by the controler: did not get the rumble, that was a new coll feature with PS1. So it is clear the PS3 was not ready on controler side. I still don't get it why they went with another manifacturer for making PS3 then went back to the PS2 manifacturer.

Some say 360 is at 90% capacity, I believe it. I notice the came is more fluent on ps3, and the cround was more happy in the PS3.
At that point is this really matter, it is so similar. If really someone is ... enough to choose X360 or Ps3 becuase of the graphic on that game I go buy a Wii right away. I mean there is no major difference. And why the developper bodder of doing a verion better than another.

There is alot of possibilities of design. A sword, a gun. By the way, there is a Gun with PS2, why not place that gun in every shooter? I would play game with the Sixaxis to move the player around, crawl, with a headset and the gun to shoot, with the DDR dance pad to move side by side, you can come up with something way better than just a Wii-Mole. 4/1 that is not about the price, they just like fun. Asian are crazy about Choccobo's, dance dance revolution and stuff like that. And Wii is really great for fun, that is what they like: FUN, and Wii mote is fun for them. Sony won't catch up with only one game title, I woun't believe.
What about the graphics, I see image somwhere that PS3 had bad graphics for PS2 games is that fixed now?
1. They came out with a expensive console to make people say WOW when price goes down.
2. Sony needed time to settle and work on to catch up on MS cause the 360 came out earlier.
3. Sony needed time to test the console on field.
4. Sony needed time to send developer kits and make them confortable to program for PS3.
5. Sony needed time to reduce cost with supplyer.
6. PS2 Last so far 7 year's this one will least 10 year's, so they have time to experiment

Most people don't know a 40Gb is comming, it was so far a rumor, so it is a big announcement. What did you expect: NASA is using a PS3 to run a ship to space, and launch a NASA bundle? It could come back in one piece. I would not try that with a Xbox.
