There are a ton of great experiences and games, you must not own a PSVR. PSVR wows everyone I show it to, you just need to pick the right experience for each person.
My immediate reaction was to bash the article, but if you actually read it, it essentially says with the screwups MS had with the Xbox One, it would best for them to play it safe, which I agree with to an extent.
If you read the Eurogamer article, the sad part is the devs weren't really lazy. The CEO and upper management killed the game because they bought a half baked engine called Vahalla and worked on making the game with it, only to much much later decide it isnt working and switch to the Unreal engine, causing alot of work to have to be redone. The dev team warned upper management that they should switch much earlier and were ignored.
Great, port it to VR.
I think it's time to let Gamebryo die. Fallout 76 at times is gorgeous, but other times it looks like Fallout 3. They really need to let the last vestiges of that engine die. I know it might cause a delay in games but it has to happen. By the time Elder Scrolls 6 gets released, the graphics their competition will be capable of might surpass them.
Yeah but Timed release deals like this get free marketing for your game, and builds desire for when the product releases on other platforms. That awesome B2VR video recently released was all Sony, people love it, will help sell copies. When the PC version gets released, people will remember that video.
I bought an X in the last few months and a friend just got one over the black friday sales. It's a great console. I still primarily game on PS4 Pro, but The X gets alot of use as well.
I dislike EA but Ubisift isnt really saying single player doesnt matter. They make alot of single player games, though they do indeed love their microtransactions. What is sad is the large collection of old IP that EA has that they never do anything with.
I agree, and also the uproar over Fallout 76 being multiplayer and online versus the single player experience that the series is known for. I don't even think EA really believes it, but they think if they keep saying it, it will become true.
Game is a first person game, suck it up whiners. I prefer 1st person, I didn't complain that The Witcher games were in third person.
Just got an Xbox One X, looking forward to playing this.
I want a Quake 1 reboot, not quake 2/quake3 with the Strogg.
Also check out Moss, another great example. :)
Just bought an X and already had the PS PRO. I bought the X mainly for backwards compatibility as I have a large library of original Xbox and 360 games, 4k Blu-ray player, to play Halo games again and a few exclusives, and some titles which may be a bit better on it than the Pro. I don't see it becoming my primary console over the Pro as I have a large PS4 library and PSVR.. So sad MS never released a Fable game for Xbox One, that was my favorite MS game.
Really? I thought for sure it would be less performance and go back to cartridges and one button joysticks.
love psvr!
EA needs a reboot!!! They have so many great IP, buts its microtransactions and lets make money money money and do what we want, and everything has to be made with Frostbyte. I would love EA to change and start making games based on Old IP again rather than the Activision clone they have turned into. Activision started the focus on few successful franchises and lets ignore all the other IP, EA followed it afterwards, and now life is beginning to suck for them. people are tired of your games ...
Has the writer of the article ever played Playroom VR's Robot Rescue on PSVR? If not, they need to play that and then they will see what they are missing with Nintendo not doing VR. Im looking forward to Astrobot, Robot Rescue was amazing.
No..Give Killzone to another dev using Guerrilla's engine, and let those guys do other things. Horizon was amazing, they need to do another Horizon game at least, and something new after that. I think doing another Killzone might be a step back for them.
