Again it has nothing to do with the gun. In Europe there's more stabings and more bombings.. so the difference is the weapon/tool used. Is it the hammers fault if I bash someone's head in with it or is it simply that I grabbed a hammer and bashed the head in with it? It's only a problem in the us because we can't spank our child or properly punish them without some asshole calling child services. The rest of the world at least remembers that there is a difference between abuse and a smack on the ass. Also in the US if a child defends itself against a bully or other attacker that child gets in trouble also. All the senerios lead to an explosive and violent end if not properly released.

Read the article it's up to the developer to implement backwards compatibility. So yes backwards compatibility is up to the developer. If the developer doesn't wish to put forth the effort than it won't work on ps5. Say what you want about MS and Xbox, at least they did the work for the developer they just needed them to sign off.
It's the same kind of set up, just a different implementation that actually will caust a developer time and money spen...

Sounds like hardware wise this next gen will be very impressive regardless of the system of choice. As an Xbox gamer I only hope that the 2 sku rumer is true, because I really don't want to have to upgrade in the middle of the generation again. Especially since I plan on upgrading to an 8k tv next year.

The Xbox one is forward compatible, supposedly. It will play future generations games (albeit lower end versions like a low end of would). Also the Xbox 4 will be native back compatible.
The reason behind ms odd way of doing it is architecture and licensing. The of Xbox was x86 or 64 while the 360 was a proprietary cpu and gpu so it couldn't do native back compat. Same goes with the one for the 360. The one should be back compat with the og, but the licences are...
