Dragon, COD games are usually made in 2 years not 1, fyi. Though you probably couldn't tell a difference if it were 1 or 2... :)
Pssh, N64 wasn't cartridge only, guess you never had a baller ass N64 DD.
Yep. I am surprised so many people think a "digital only gaming age" is right around the corner.
There are tons of people that do not have high speed internet at their homes, as well as what IM_KINECTED said, lots of people have download caps and many people still don't even have internet access at home.
We are a ways away from a digi-download-only era. Discs are going to be around a long time, they will continue to do online passes or oth...
Sweet, GG is awesome.
Do not listen to ritsuka666, the game is amazing (both multiplayer and singleplayer). To get the MP mode for only $7 or $15 including all the maps is a steal! All map DLC is $10 on the Playstation store so you are basically only paying $5 (or less if you have PS+) for the multiplayer game, that is an awesome deal.
They did not "implant COD into it", I am sick of diehard KZ2 players saying that. I was a KZ2 fanatic, the only game I played for a long time. In fact...
Though I disagree, everyone has their own preferences of what is the best. If you do not like that then you will not like KZ3 either, it has the same classes as 2 some combinations just switched around.
Were you only playing people of your level or lower? Cause otherwise there are people of all kinds of levels in games with different abilities.
I do think a barebones mode would be a cool option for KZ games.
I love KZ2 and KZ3, overall I like KZ3 more. Yea, it's not perfect but neither is KZ2. The lag in KZ2 makes the game unplayable at times when every single person is a bullet sponge. They fixed 90% of that in KZ3 which is a huge difference in overall gameplay and enjoyment. Neither game is perfect, both are amazing games, but when I hear KZ2 fans say KZ3 is a complete disappointment, a disgrace or worst of all a COD clone, it just makes me shake my head as it simply is not true. Play ...
Too bad map packs cost so much in COD games, I wish they were more along the prices of Killzone 2 and 3. Those are some quality maps for great prices, especially when they bundle them together.
They should release all old maps for free in newer iterations of games, just prove you have the original game and you should get to download them for free no questions asked.
They didn't even review the multiplayer part of the game other than mentioning it has splitscreen?
Personally I think Treyarch gets the crappy end of the stick way too much simply because they are the "second" developer of COD games. I enjoyed WAW a lot, both single player and multiplayer, and I usually enjoy modern military vs older military games. Black Ops was great as well and I really liked their take on changing up the multiplayer stuff.
R3 looked bad ass and everyone I knew that played it said it was awesome. I never played it myself so I don't know but it seemed weird to me reading so many negative reviews about the campaign. I'll have to try it out sometime.
"Not everyone buys COD every year"
Though I understand where you are coming from when you say that, sales numbers would tend to disagree with that statement. The number of COD fans that don't buy each yearly release is quite minimal.
Well, I wouldn't be surprised if Master Cheif's man juice rolled down your face.
Just jokin buddy :)
Just curious, how does this site count as an official critic review on Metacritic.com? After looking through the site, it is more of a blog if anything. The oldest review they have is from 2011 not to mention they only have just over 40 reviews on their site.
As far as the actual Twisted Metal review, I'll let the author and his comments below the review speak for themselves.
PS2 quality? Give me a break.
Care to expand on why rather than just say it sucks and it's dead?
I agree completely. I'm tired of these people saying they loved KZ2 but KZ3 was terrible. I LOVED KZ2, in fact I waited to get a PS3 until that game came out and it was all I played and enjoyed for a long time. KZ2 was amazing, but it wasn't perfect. As much as I hate to say it, the controls really did detract from the experience. I loved the heavy feel but the literal input lag was just annoying and frustrating at times, especially in close quarters. IMO they perfected the contro...
Am I really the only one that noticed this article is from last March? Especially with the last sentence, "with the combined talents of Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer and Raven said to be handling this year's franchise entry."
What idiot put this up as new news?
Bring on KZ4, KZ2 and KZ3 were amazing games! People that think KZ3 failed need to chill out and get better teammates, the game is as good and better in many areas.
Funcoland was the best IMO
