The latest Mortal Kombat trailer looks superb, like they've really overhauled the fighting engine. Which is always good.

I agree with you on some of their choices, although Killzone I kind of get. Maybe it will set some sort of new standard in 3D FPS gaming? Who knows really, I guess we'll see after launch.

Agreed. It shows massive potential. Now Ninja Theory can take the first game and build on its strengths.
I also feel a bit uneasy about Enslaved, it looks nice, but hack n slash style games live or die by their combat mechanics. Bayonetta confidently does the genre best and Enslaved doesn't look a patch on it.

...this is utter nonsense. I find it hard to believe that Sony will resort to launching quadrilogies on PS4. I want imagination, the creation of hot new IP that will make the console a must-buy, not a sequel.
I'm not saying Killzone 4, GoW4 wouldnt be awesome, I'm sure they would be, but this isn't enough to get me to buy a new console. Unique IP is the way to get me to do that.

Yet...Don't discount it straight away. Imagine what devs like Bioware, Valve and Bungie could come up with using the technology. I'll reserve judgement for when these so-called 'core' games come out.

No it's not that bad. That guy's comparision isn't fair. It's a multiplayer with old school graphics, rock hard old school difficulty and the rewarding grind of Demon's Souls. Unless you play it multiplayer you will not get the best out of it. Only get it if you have friends to play with.
So many reviewers clearly haven't put time in to play it.
