How does it feel to be such a petty individual?
It's a good, well written piece and if you read it, they explain quite well where the criticisms came from and the interview with Bungie itself has them actually admitting that the game had a lot of critics.
Read first, troll later. It's a good rule mate, just saying.
It's not a serious article
Of course it's a joke
I'm from the UK but if you take the currency conversion into account, yeah that's a good deal!
If Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition is anything to go by, Resi 5 should work a treat on Move.
It's not a serious article.
That's because it is a joke buddy ;)
Very well said dude. Agreed on all counts.
Except from the fanboy remark. That's just not true, and yes I have insider experience. I agree it may look that way, but can we really expect to call any journalist with an opinion a fanboy? Doesn't that take things to a massive extreme?
Not having a go mate, just keen to see what your thoughts are :)
@Halo_Reach You're wrong
True mate, they spearheaded the genre, but are they as ingrained into pop culture as Halo? Maybe in some circles but in the mainstream, they can't compete with Halo.
Quake is still insanely massive though, it's an incredible series!
That said, not everyone HAS to be a Halo fan to be a gamer though surely? Or did I mis-read the rules when I first started playing games in the 80's?
...just tempted to wait and see what the supermarkets sell it at? They always try to one-up each other with these kind of games anyway. It's like price war limbo...how low can they go?
I know the guy personally, no he's not a fan boy. Dick.
No, it's really not...
Can't wait for Reach mate. Never been the biggest Halo fan, but Reach has swayed me somewhat. You played the beta? If so, how did it stand up?
I was the same, the first Halo was great, but the other two not so much. Mutliplayer in Halo 3 with all the map packs is great, but the campaign didn't really stand up. Maybe it's because Halo offered so many new concepts to the table back in 2001, while Halo 3 had a tougher time competing with other shooters.
It's still a solid trilogy though, kudos Bungie, let's see what you're up to next!
Pure gold!
Sure did buddy, would be cool to see them do a new recorded version for Duke Nukem Forever :)
Is that a one-liner from Duke Nukem 3D? If not, that's brilliant!
Yeah the game definitely got a lot of undue criticism, especially the ending. Bungie openly admitted that the game was scrapped halfway through then remade from scratch under a tight deadline.
Even with that pressure, the game was still ace.
