I don't think the actual gameplay for destiny is that much like halo... and I don't mean that as a compliment.The beta really underwhelmed me. I am still not sure what everyone is so excited about. It was a really mediocre game. It played a lot like call of duty but with some aspects of halo. And nobody should call it an MMO. It is definitely not an mmo. It is a standard shooter in which you can play coop with a good number of people. Halo is so much better than what we have played so...
this is why I want to pick up the master chief collection. I know I will enjoy those games AND I get access to the halo 5 beta so I can see if it plays well or not. Halo 4 was ok but it was a step in the wrong direction. I think 343 understands that but the halo 5 beta will let us know for sure
not even uncharted? This game looks like it could be good but uncharted is what makes me want a ps4. Might have to pick one up next year
The game looks like it really has a lot of potential. I still can't believe that there is no coop though. It looks like this game would be perfect for online coop with friends... especially since there is no multiplayer
still looks very interesting though. Other videos make it look like it might be one of the best looking console games ever made

I would rather keep the 60 dollar price tag and not upgrade halo 3 and 4. They upgraded halo 2 because it was necessary. An upgrade of halo 3 and 4 might be nice but it isn't really that necessary. It would be kind of cool but I am thankful that they aren't touching those.
for people saying this isn't a good game, you probably haven't played it. My friend bought it for his kid and told me it was actually pretty good so i picked it up because of the low price.
I was pleasantly surprised by how much fun it was. PS4 owners should give it a shot. I definitely got my money's worth on it.
This is the map we all knew they would announce but were all also waiting for... lockout is one of my favorite multiplayer maps of all time. I remember doing shotty snipers back in the day with my friends.

I completely agree with jeffgunz. I was really excited about the game but this video looks like nothing special and doesn't make me want to pick it up. Also, if you don't care about my opinion, you probably shouldn't comment on it
exactly what I was thinking. This looks like the same old call of duty but you can jump higher. I'll pass... I'd rather play halo MCC and farcry anyway

This is not really a system seller. The game has a cool look to it but it doesn't really interest me.
Uncharted is what will make me eventually get a ps4
so the big announcement was wild? I was expecting something epic and am a little disappointed.
but playstation's best games are extremely linear (uncharted, TLoU, the order)
just play the open beta. it looks really interesting but I agree with you... need to try it out before I buy it

I don't think the multiplayer felt like halo. Instead, it felt like a generic shooter. It was similar to call of duty with some aspects of halo. The guns just didn't have any weight behind them and the multiplayer just seemed like it wasn't anything special.
am I the only one that was not impressed by the beta? It doesn't really do anything new. It seemed like a generic game dressed up to look fresh.
I was also really let down by the multiplayer. I was just expecting a much better game. This game was nothing special to me.
I will still by it because there will be nothing else to play for a little while. Hopefully it will surprise me but if the beta is a good indication of what is to come, I am not impressed. ...

what new things did sony show? bloodborne was already leaked. They announced little big planet 3 (big surprise) and that no mans sky would be exclusive (which its not).
microsoft had just as many surprises if not more than sony. I will admit that if the master chief collection was not leaked it would have made their conference one of the best ever. If no one saw that coming it would have been explosive.

your arguing semantics. Yes, you can technically play at the same time as other people and yes it is online. That does not make it an MMO. There is a huge difference in an MMO and destiny.
