I just want to add a few more cities to the list.
Rome, Italy
London, UK
Hong Kong, China
Which technology is the Player even using, the 3D association hasn't even standardize the code yet! Even on the CES floor I saw three different formats and the one on the PS3s was a format that was used to showcase the technology. (Sony wants the format standardize so the firmware will be less buggy)
What concerns me is that the movies being shown in the theater are not in a standardized format, hence the throw-away glasses that is not being used from film to film. But when it ...
We as gamers love to over hype things and games like Halo, Gears of War, Final Fantasy, and Gran Theft Auto still survive the high expectations of some gamers.
I've learned my lesson is that I floored my expectations so that when I do play a game like Enchanted Arms or Lair; I'm left thinking that was an OK game, ate my time for awhile.
I was burned by Fable though, I believed hook line and sinker...
That is what I felt like after buying two Xbox 360s after the first one died, the unfortunate side-affects of a collector. Don't send it in to get it repaired, keep it as a desktop weight, proof that I played my systems to the max!
You know in World of Warcraft (one of my addictions) I can't just go up to someone and say you want to play Left 4 Dead and expect them to leave WoW. Maybe Bejeweled, but that is a UI game...
Also my Japanese server doesn't have the Red Bull thing yet.
You Americans get so much stuff in Home compared to us, so far I got snow mans (free), happy new year shirts and a Namco, Siren, and Playstation showroom.
You know the guy next to me was staring at the game the same way. I just smiled, but I did want to steal the PS3 that had Wipeout HD in 3D.
I'll definitely have the trilogy now that I have both the PC and Xbox 360 version of Mass Effect. A sidenote is that the PC version is the superior one too with less bugs and popping in effects that I had on the 360.
If EA brings Mass Effect to the PS3, I'll be buying that version first unless Microsoft decides to pay EA to keep it exclusive. Now don't get me wrong, a great deal of money has to be exchanged since EA themselves have a big loss.
I just that univers...
Wow, I just the reactions going around, keep me entertained!
Already have Killzone 2 on pre-order and Halo Wars so it won't affect me to much. Just the bills maybe...
San Fransico, see you there!
Kojima team should be reform like the western developers and create projects around a 2 - 3 year cycle. That way that have projects finished on alternating years, can you imagine the number of titles they can produce instead of 1 every few years.
I wonder what we can call this failure, it needs to have a ring to it somewhere.
About time, just think of the deals you can make, buy this song and you get to play it as a level and play it on your mp3 player.
This was a very funny article! I want more like this...
Bring it
PS360 > Wii
Gotta take the way games are played back on the evolutionary track before the slide down the hill backwards.
I love the fanboy wars, it keeps me entertained while I'm looking for news on videogames. It also lets see the feelings of the gaming devoted that wants to vent some where and it is interesting in what is said.
Keep at it!!
Unite and fight against the Wii, since all that toy is doing is want to push the gaming market to be short burst of 5 minute game playing instead of in-depth immersion.
Why not Blu-Ray, Microsft is already paying royalties to the DVD Association which Sony is a member of.
I am playing White Knight Story and you what I noticed about it compared to Infinite Undiscovery and Lost Odyssey. There are no "pop-in" of graphics and lack of lengthy loading times between battles and on the game map. The cities are actual cities and it is nice to see that walking from street to the other forces a loading flash like in Infinite Undiscovery.
Look at us fighting on the forums, actually I enjoy it, this is my "reality tv." ^_^ Don't forget about the toy, the wii, we should be bashing about that one for while and how it sells all these consoles but doesn't sell games.
OK than I'll start
2008 Games average metacritic scores above the entire library --> 5.6
The reason being is that Sony already has stock in Blockbuster's streaming technology and movie lign-ups. This is the reason why Netflix wouldn't go to Sony...
Remember what the developer of Braid said about the Xbox 360, they are allergic to giving things out for free. Youtube is free and so by default Microsoft doesn't want to waste bandwidth to something they can't charge. (Plus it is owned by Google)
I already watch TV and Movies through the PS3 here are some of the sites you can use on the PS3 and guess what, except for netflix they are free!
