These new creatures look pretty cool. I think the Elite/ grunt/ other covenant enemies are those who were not allied with the humans in halo 2 and halo 3. I think these are splinter groups who want to exact revenge. Also, I think we will see many other types of aliens and races and that these new enemies here are just the start of it all.

I hope it sells enough to recoup development costs, but I don't want them to make a killing profit wise. I do not want them to continue the series in this manner. If they could make a console/pc version of RE that is like RE Revelations, then Capcom...you could have my money!!

Disappointed because I want to go back to World War II. Sure, last gen it was overdone. But this gen, not at all. This gen is the era of modern and I want some WWII.
I would like the realism. However, crazy cheats are welcomed. Maybe a few crazy missions too, nothing like bigfoot or going to Area 51 though...
That would be nice if they did add something extraordinary, I would be more than happy with that! The pessimistic side of me makes me feel like it was delayed to avoid the competition though. I also have a bad feeling that Far Cry 3 will be delayed. Knowing Ubisoft it'll be delayed til 2014 :P.
Like they can really add multiplayer in 4 months? My arse. Ken has even said something like that people will go to the "cods and halos" for an mp fix. This delay was strictly to avoid competition.
My gut still tells me that GTA V is coming May 2013. I know this isn't what everyone wants....but May is a good month with almost no competition. 2k/Rockstar would dominate the sales chart. If they release this year, they have to compete with AC, COD, Halo, Medal of Honor, Resident Evil, Far Cry 3, etc. etc. Also will have to compete with Max Payne 3 DLC's and their own Borderlands 2. I wish it would come this fall because I love the GTA series and I need another one, but I feel it wo...
I would hate to be one of these people who do this because if the next gen does arrive in 2013 or early 2014, who would want to be paying for current gen tech when next-gen has released.
But the co-op member won't be with you if you are playing alone. In the case of RE5, Sheva was always with you and was annoying as can be. I agree with what you say about being vulnerable and whatnot and that co-op doesn't really belong in it in a sense, but at least this co-op isnt mandatory or will mess the game up. This sounds like it could be fun.

Sounds good to me. I wish Dead Space 2 would have had a co-op survival mode instead of the multiplayer that it had. Kudos to those who liked it, but it just wasn't my cup of tea and it felt forced. I played it a handful of times and just didn't want to come back for more. A "horde" mode on the other hand would be a fun multiplayer component to compliment the spectacular single player experience.

They said that the new Splinter Cell will "explore old themes of SC, yet still focus on action." My expectations are very low, but I hope that they wow me and make a game comparable to CT. Sadly, it will not. I wish it would be like PT or CT but it will be like ConViction. However, I think they will add a tiny bit more stealth, but if they leave Mark and execute, black and white, x ray goggles, no dragging and hiding bodies, then count me out!
