Is buying used really that bad? I have bought some used titles in the past and really liked the games and then it got me to buy the NEW games in the series on day one. Sure, buying used is bad....but they can still make money off of DLC (unfortunately) and it can attract new players.

They did this for all the other games recently. Makes sense for them to make money. I agree with them doing this: allows people to pay to bypass playing and they make cash. I see the merit in doing this, but if they ever charge for GUNS that you cannot unlock....then #$%^ off EA.
Ah- Didn't see the early access bit. But still I hate pre-order bonuses. Makes me feel Ripped off too.
I waited and got Gears of War 3 last week for $19.99 on amazon. I'm gonna wait for games that I want now, at least 3-4 weeks.

Probably May 2013 honestly. I'd hope for a fall release but I don't see it being released with all the competition. If it releases in May 2013, it won't have much competition at all and it will sell like hotcakes. Also, Rockstars parent company: 2k, has big games coming this fall like Bioshock Infinite and Borderlands 2. I doubt that they'd want their games potentially competing with one another.
Sounds like this will be an unfair advantage in MP's multiplayer.

Fair review. Lots of minor flaws but the overall package is good. But these flaws do deduct some points off of my score.
