In the first KZ, you have to load a new rocket everytime. The video in KZ2 shows the player just 'twisting it'. Call me anal, but I fell in love with KZ because of their attention to weapon detail. Don't disappoint me GG.
Keep politics out of NG4 seriously. No one cares who you're voting for.
Sony better step up! Anyone can argue reasons and blah blah about games, but the result is that the 360 being cheaper will make it that much more appealing. No one cares about the competition if the entry price is cheap! Just look at the Wii, a fine example of what happens when you price your console below the competitors.
wait you got Gears of War working w/ DS3? I'm able to get my PC to recognize it and play basic games with gamepad support, but GeoW was not one of them. Care to share?
same here.
That list is whack!
It's just Sony trying to push more PSN stuff on you. They're actually forcing you to buy PSN stuff before you even agreed to. But all the consumers think is that the extra $50 goes towards that extra 80GB, when it probably cost next to nothing to slap on. Sony is trying to push PSN stuff onto the consumer to get them interested in spending money on the PS Store.
If people cared so much about BC, they would've bought the 60GBs and 80GBs (old) while they were still out. Can't whine now. I wanted BC just in case so I bought a 60GB launch. Also, people kept complaining about the price, so Sony had to cut costs to bring the console price down. But of course, the main reason for cutting BC is to promote the PS2s.
If you think the HDDs in PS3s will strain itself over PlayTV, let alone mandatory installs. The guy above me already said it best.
I think they mentioned Haze because they wanted to point out the irony that Haze is a poorly programmed game that doesn't take advantage of the PS3 that much, yet using PlayTV can slow down gameplay because apparently Haze harnesses the PS3's power.
Wasn't PS-Eye touted as Next-gen Eyetoy? wtf?
Good times at PSU
^^^^
That's what I was thinking. Placebo effect, nothing more. Only way to truly know is to have an uptapped T3 line with a nice workstation to monitor bandwidth usage. I'd rather prefer the 360 way of doing things because I can let it download and it'll auto-shutdown.
Way to step up your A-game and show commitment to the J-pan market. Maybe Sony should hurry up and do more.
Amirite?
yah, i saw those 60GB 360s @ BB just today
Really? I thought Mass Effect was a fine experience; The Storyline anyways. The side-quests were all a joke. 40+ hours my ass, I completed the game in around 10 hours. (new game) However there's alot of replay value, so it's worth it sorta. Mass Effect raised the bar on presentation alot considering you control Shepard's every dialog (almost)
You're not missing much. The catalog is pretty piss-poor right now. However I guess time will tell.
RE4 was a pain in the ass to play because I didn't have it. I got through it eventually, but it'd been a helluva lot easier with a roll button to dodge "certain" attacks. If Capcom thinks having a guy that can't roll is "suspenseful", then clearly their designers are dubious to the competition. Gears of War is an example of a perfect 3rd person shooter that has the controller scheme down perfectly. I don't want to argue that RE5 should be more like GeoW in terms of control...
