Nothing wrong with trying to protect your investments. Although I wouldn't think of swapping up my 60GB for the 80GB just for the nm downsizing alone.

But it's interesting how he interprets the old technology in terms of the new. Decompressing data into logical code from DVDs straight to CPUs & GPUs has been done since the PS2-Xbox-GC era. The "kids' system" is very much a misconception. The crap part, however isn't that far off. With every game dropped onto the Wii, with every article speculating more and more intently about the Wii 2; the crap part becomes a reality.
we might as well play it because I for one don't intend to look like a prejudicial bigot when Home rolls out and it's creating massive success while I'm here eating my own words. I say, let the stuff come and see for ourselves. Sony didn't get trashed year over delays for nothing ya know. Obviously it's important enough to them to invest all this time and effort.

Just look at the Wii. A sole example of a cheap-price tag winning their company 1st place in overall sales. It's pretty much proven that a cheaper console will always sell more initially before quality becomes a decision-making factor.
Man you have HIGH expectations.
PS3 owners had something worth fighting for because their console was being discriminated against unfairly. Now the situation is totally changed and alot of N4G'ers won't even approve articles that circle a positive or critical opinion of the 360, yet they'll approve dupe articles that talk about the PS3 in a good way.
This isn't even about "defending the PS3's integrity" anymore. It's about putting twists on anything 360 into FUD.

I personally didn't know anybody from the TT, but others might. I can imagine how they would react to something like 9/11 being a comic-pun in video game convention when the reality is nothing to laugh about.
