I'm very happy to know that Metroid Prime 4 and a mainline Pokémon game is coming soon. Although I wish they at least show some footages or a concept art from the two. Still, either way, it's great news that we know these games are coming.
Their 25 minutes better be worth it. If not, it's obvious they do not really get their act together. I'm not going to hold my breath, however. I have a feeling their direct is going to be another disappointment like always.

I'm rather hoping it's related to a new potential Pokémon game for the Switch. But if anything, it could possibly be related to the 3DS instead, especially the install base being too big. The Nintendo Switch is basically a Wii U than the Vita to be honest. I highly doubt it. Once Zelda wears out, another game will take its place, like Pokémon for example, and there's a reason why Nintendo handhelds are successful because of it. Not to mention that people seem to treat the Switch as a handheld aspect than the console aspect of it. You can promptly assume that the Switch may be another "Wii U" scenario, but what if you're wrong? I mean, who knows?
