Are people still going on with this? As Nintendo already explained this not long ago. Not to mentioned that they added significant upgrades to things such as lighting effects and texture details, as well as complete re-imaginings of certain characters.
We have seen:
New gameplay mechanics
Huge move changes and balancing for old characters
New characters
New stages (As well as returning stages from previous SSB games being remade)
...

Fans: We want Super Smash Bros and we do not care if its a port.
Nintendo: Here is Super Smash Bros, coming in 2018.
Fans: It's a port.
Nintendo at E3: Super Smash Bros will have every characters even Ridley.
Fans: Yep they spent that much time on a port.
Nintendo: This is a NEW game built from the ground up.
Fans: Yep it's a port
Me: But they said is new.
Fans: Nope it's a port an...
But the problem is, we shouldn't expect big AAA third party games to come to the Switch like Red Redemption 2, Battlefield, COD, KH3, Rage 2, Fallout 76 (Knowing Bethesda porting Skyrim, Doom and Wolfenstein 2 to the Switch, they could try. But that's up to them if they want to put in more titles on the Switch, depending if their games sells good on the Switch to satisfy their demands or if the Switch is capable of running them or not.)
Netflix and YouTube should have been on the Switch from the get-go. I'm not sure why this is taking Nintendo too long to simply add them. Yeah, I know that they're available on million devices, but still.
I'm more excited for both of Sony and Nintendo showing off their stuff. I'm sure they'll knock it out of the park this time after the boring press conferences from EA, Microsoft and Bethesda. (TES 6 was Bethesda's only good thing that they've shown, however.)
Nothing of value was lost, Nintendo fans. COD is not that good anymore especially the fact that they've removed the campaign for Black Ops 4 which makes it more undesired to get. I know the fanboys from other consoles are laughing at this, but I guarantee a whole lot of you are not going to bother buying the game anyways.
The new Pokemon game for the Switch is not going to be a MMO and I don't think Gamefreak will be going to that route. It will just be like the previous main titles, but with better graphics and perhaps some new changes in terms of gameplay, but I highly doubt it will be a MMO. I honestly would hate that, since I am not a fan of MMOs in general.
To be honest, your expectations seems too high there.

Typical sony fanboy, you are fake news.

Lol please tell me you're joking. Fornite on Switch looks way better than the IPhone.

@Jaruren I'm rather curious if Sony fanboys are the same just by looking at this pro Sony site...
Let's be honest here. This looks so much better than Star Fox Zero.
And don't forget Retro Studios' project. There hasn't been any more info about their new game that they have been working on for the past 4-5 years.
Netflix and YouTube should have been on the Switch from the get-go. I'm not sure why this is taking Nintendo too long to simply add them. Yeah, I know that they're available on million devices, but still.
Terrible, just terrible.

Playtonic or Retro Studios.
And before the Nintendo Ninjas come to take this down...
Once Pokemon comes to the Switch, I'm afraid it will hurt the 3DS.

I can careless about NES titles to be honest. Hopefully we will see SNES, N64 and maybe NGC titles coming.
"Now port Shin Megami Tensei V to ps4 and cancel the inferior switch port"
You do realize SMT V is being built from the ground up for the Switch, right? Lol, what an idiot.
