and i get commission for each one i sell ;)
all the DLC content that is on the PS store can be unlocked for free in the game by progressing through career mode except one (the Collector's Edition upgrade).
all the stuff is still unlockable, the only one that isn't i believe is the Collector's edition upgrade. you can get all the other things without paying one cent for DLC.
you don't have to buy it. They aren't making you pay 120 dollars to complete the game. The only DLC on that list that you cannot unlock in the game is the Collector's Edition upgrade. It's for people who don't wanna complete the whole game just to get some cool cars to race with, they can get it the easy way but they have to pay. That's my take on it.
that games should have a code that is good for 1 use and automatically syncs to your system on first use. It should then allow you to set a unique password for that game. This way, if you have 2 consoles (ex. one in bedroom and one in living room) you can just type in the password on the second console and your fine, but it would not allow used game sales because the people who would buy the game used would not have the password and could not play the game. I know there is probably a flaw wit...
well i work at Futureshop and we are supposed to check for ID when people buy M rated games. But most of the people at the store i'm at, myself included, don't. why? because we have target sales we are supposed to reach, and i'm not gunna give up $60 of sales volume just because some kid is 16 and not 17.
i read the report and it says that the Metal Gear "franchise" is selling 4.33 units in Q2 2009. That would include any sales of the PS2 and PSP versions of MGS as well as MGS4. For example, it says that the Metal Gear franchise sold 0.51 million units in Q2 2008 (last year). MGS4 was not out last year, so that means that theoretically MGS4 might only of sold 3.9 million copies or somewhere around there. Not trying to ruin the party, i could be wrong but thats what i got out of the r...
if your saying that Tales Of Vesperia and Ninja Gaiden 2 are not flops (i don't think they are), then you shouldn't say Motorstorm 2 and Gran Turismo 5: Prologue are flops (which i also don't think they are) because there is only a 2% margin between them, and they are all in the low 80s.
you say that the "sad sad sony fanboys" think that a game that scores 70% is a flop, when right above you in this thread Omega4, a X360 fanboy by my judgement, says that Resistance 2 is a flop because it's average score is only 89%. Don't be hypocritical.
sorry if it came across that way. I haven't seen many of the articles from your blog, but i just used VGTilt as an example because i remember one article where people were complaining that the review from that site was included in the N4G metascore because it was a blog. Well imo who cares about the score a game gets, play it if it interests you and don't play it if it doesn't. I liked this article though, i'll read any others i see from your blog :)
i completely agree. I for one think this site would be much less attractive to visit if the only posts we got were from major sites. The good things about N4G is that you can read things that you might not normally come across on the major sites. I like reading some of the more interesting blogs on here, such as Silogon's, VGTilt i think it is. Yea with blogs some things might not be "news" but if they aren't we aren't forced to read them, just skip it and go on to the next story. T...
the ultimate DS would of kept the GBA slot, not so much for the GBA games but for games like Guitar Hero/that rumble pinball game.
PS. i wasn't the disagree.
Call of Duty 4: World In Conflict. is that supposed to be Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare or Call of Duty 5: World At War? lol
was Lego Indiana Jones
the games i wanna see on the next batch of North American greatest hits are Heavenly Sword, Lair, Ratchet & Clank: TOD, Uncharted, Folklore, and Call of Duty 4. (assuming they all meet the required standards)
the PS3's attach rate was 6.5 worldwide as of June 30th, not 5. That's only a game and a half per console behind the X360, which had a year head start. That means that the PS3 is selling games faster than the X360.
the PS3 attach rate is 6.5 as of June 30th. I thought i remembered reading a recent news story about the attach rate being around just under 5. Might be mistaken, but shouldn't a console's attach rate go up rather than down as time goes?
and we are having a midnight launch for both Gears Of War 2 and WOW:WOTLK.
how did she get a job in a videogame store and doesn't even know what platform a major game is coming out on.
i sold one the other day to a couple who were buying a 360 and they wanted to get wireless internet but didn't understand how to set it up. So i sold them one of our packages which for 129.99 you get a wireless router, one of our technicians to set up the wireless router with any electronics you have (X360, computer, etc) and the setup on their 360 (parental controls, updates, hookup to your home theater system, etc). They did have to buy the X360 wireless adapter separately though.
