I have no interest whatsoever in this title now and it's a shame cuz Sony was doing pretty good with the quality of the indie releases so far. This game looks boring and ugly. They probably delayed it because of the criticisms.
What reason is there to port a game like this anyway? It's cell-shaded to look more like the cartoon, not exactly the kind of graphics that would see a huge improvement by releasing on more powerful machines.

I takes months at the very least to port a game, this is set to release in March, there's no where near enough time.
That actually made a joke about that in that in the trailer just now by saying "Definitive". They're always so up to date with current events, it was no accident lol.
I, like many other intelligent next system owners, kept my last gen console because I knew it would still be relevant for a while. You'd have to have really been strapped for cash to ditch a system with so many games still on it and releasing soon.

The cinematic experience is being made like no other game. They truly want it to feel like a movie and I love the genre they're going after so it looks like a perfect fit.
It's in the same vein as movies like Van Helsing and that new tv show Dracula. The graphics are amazing and are said to be improved since that initial trailer was shown.
At the vary least they'll be setting a new standard for amazing looking beards in a video game.
We didn't have to deal with broken games much in the PS2 and earlier eras. Developers and publishers are simply taking advantage of the situation of an internet connected device. It's still shoddy depending on how badly it needs the patch to function.
Some games and 1 system are far worse with how limited you are with getting that day 1 patch and that should be unacceptable.
Ebay is a rip-off because there are people that stalk the incoming PS4s and buy ALL OF THEM then list them for well above retail simply to make a profit. People that just want to buy te system can't get one at retail because of all these scaplers.

Very surprising statement but I understand what you mean. Wanting to play a game or watch a movie or tv show the way it was meant to be experienced. With the voices, tones, folklore etc of the culture it came from.

I've never been so excited about a group of Sony exclusives. Loved them all but never had "Day 1" just so burned in my mind as I do about these PS4 titles.

I'm playing through Demons Souls right now but I don't like some of the locations: That prison, the lava pit area and that one putrid place just aren't fun to me. Been skipping them.

It's a detailed shot but those rainy shots with puddles in the streets are a lot more impressive. It's nice to see a brand new screen though.

I wonder if open world games can overtake FPSs this gen in popularity? GTA5 showed us there's obviously a ton of fans, enough to even beat out a call of duty title so maybe the tide is turning.
I'm seeing $99, if that's right I'm definitely picking these up the day they come out.
I love it when headsets give you the option to go wireless or through aux so I can use these with my phone, MP3 player, tablet, laoptop PS3 and PS4.
