The final Fantasy series is great for their off-the-main-story thing to due, optional side everything makes these games have something beyond "replay value" because you don't have to start over, they have made it so the main story might be 30 hrs but doing ever...

Well FFX was so good i put 400+ hours into IT.
That comparison alone would indicate that FFXII was weak, in comparison to the other games of the franchise.
At the end of 10 when you get the airship and are allowed to explore any area that exist you end up interested in EVER area that exist. The side missions, optional bosses, optional dungeons, optional aeons...
It'd be great if it's a good as its previews indicate, another new franchise to boast about would be good for sony, they've already had many and its strangely overlooked.

The only thing he mentions thats positive and unique was showing the human side of the german soldiers. Most games don't have them converse about families and whatnot.

At GameStop a week ago and i thought the demo sucked. And i don't see the real game being much different. It'd only be worth playing for me to see the story they created for this game.
