It shouldn't be downplayed. I'd be cool to get an extended warranty from sony for it but i think they just made better models each time they released a new one.
Im more concerned about the blu-ray drive dying, even though that seems to be an even more rare thing to happen. I just have a hard time believing the laser will work for a whole 5+ years.
NO, i believe it effects the 60Gb PS3s the most. Who even bought the 20Gb models, they are like the rarest model.
Every time i read of this ylod effecting someone they %90 of the time say they have a 60Gb model.
Or MAYBE they know their E3 announcements will be so great that there will be a large increase in PS3 console sells.

Anyways, i could see this as news because the PS3 is always standard retail price at amazon.com so they have reduced it (pointlessly) but it is insignificant and means nothing.
They've been selling the DS3 controllers at a reduced price for month yet there was no official price cut on those. it means nothing.
BUT amazon always has slightly lower prices than other retailers. I would say this isn't even news. Dell.com has better deals anyway if you're already gonna buy online.

This little information just reminded me of that cuz when it happened i was like wtf? The effort put into this game (attention to life like detail/human interaction) is amazing.
I can't see why they wouldn't considering whats happened so far.

more games would do what they want for each system. If one can have an additional feature or better graphics or better AI just friggin do it.
Don't gimp both because of each ones weaknesses (lowest common denominator theory) just make as great a game as you can for each system.

Yeah, something like that would be cool but the PS3Eye could already do that (with a update) so im sure they want to do something further. I'm not sure how well the PS3Eye has sold so that's probably why support for suck things havn't been implemented/it's not worth it.
Full body motion control makes me think it will need 3 cameras to actually account for you full range of motions, 2 at the very least.

You're giving a demo impression. It's a sandbox game so the overall visual quality is bound to take a hit, of course its visuals can be done on the 360.
But lack of polish of a demo is NOT something to go off of. What makes people think the demo is from the final build anyway?

I'd just like to say that i love most of namcos games. It's been that way since the ps1 so nothing here surprises me. They really should've been making their HD games multi or PS3 exclusive.
The PS2 sales being comparable to the Wii sales just proves my point. Playstation owners favor namco titles more than Xbox owners.

Yeah, this just blew killzone out the water, i didnt think that would be said this year. at least not by a console game or at least not by a delusional hater.
PS3 exclusives are indeed competing with each other.

This game is more on the level on when GTA3 or GTA vice released.
It's brought back the enjoyment of playing open world games. Not to say that it got bad but more along the lines of "it hasn't been THIS good in a long time"
