I could've put my B/C to some use. I really don't see why an M rating would make them want to cancel it, how old do they think the animes audience is?

Full exclusive (as far as we know) for a single region just cuz they felt like waving money at it. On a game that has (use to have) a large fan base.

The last mission is the one where you need to stop the truck and it seems impossible.
I did this thunderstormless by rushing head on towards all the guys using that force attack to knock them back, i got to the right of the truck and just kept attacking them and the truck with a barrage of force attack, quick lightning (R1) and lightning grenades.
Restarting your PS3 and don't do the internet connection test.
You could also try disable and enable your connection in the PS3s connection settings and still DO NOT do the internet connection test.
There are true fixes you can look up via google but these things work if you dont want to readjust your router and ps3 connection settings.
Should work after a few tries.
They really need an update to fix this problem as it is becoming more and more common.
Star Ocean 4, sub-par or not would have sold at least twice as many copies on PS3 had it been released. Even more than that had it been exclusive.
You're fooling yourself if think otherwise. PS3 owners in all regions wanted that game.

If we end up getting in-engine cut-scenes rather than CGI on the PS3 version i will be pissed!
It would also be unfortunate if they gave PS3 owners CGI and 360 owners in-game/engine generated cut-scenes.
I really wish Microsoft would have just left this franchise alone or that Sony would have bought exclusivity.
1080p CGI cut scenes are great, don't remove them.
M$ shouldn't even waste their money on a deal like this, PS3 games are region free. They need to get that through their heads and stop wasting money on partial exclusivity deals and start spending it on actual games.

The gameplay in the Star Ocean games is and has always been all action, just as long as you can get through the crappy story/dialog combination.

When they became made exclusively for a system that wasn't made for them, seriously. The undersized 6.5Gb of disc space, the user-base of on-line, gore, and fast paced game lovers.
It was supposed to be a walk towards diversifying what genres were found on the console but it the majority of the people who own the console don't care for the genre (jrpgs) then this is what happens.

80Gb models are best. The first run hardware (20Gb and 60Gb models) are the ones most likely to have something wrong with them that is discovered later in their lifetime. The 80Gb model has a good amount of B/C and all the other bells and whistles. It's slightly bigger HDD makes upgrading not necessary as soon as the other models too.
I bought a 1Tb external HDD for $99 instead of upgrading as it was the most useful option, the cheapest option and i've got 4 usb ports anyway.
Pay attention people, things like this aren't said for no reason. PS3wise it's the best thing out there and it makes the PS3 much better than any of the media severs that are compatible with the 360.
Notice how there is no doubt or "it's pretty good"-like statements about it. It is THE best. Not only that, it's interface is user friendly, all you need is to know is how to read.
I had the EXACT same feeling. I was like "Oh Sh!t! It's playing now" then the audio didn't come in :(
I still think it's great, i use my PS3 so much it is the absolute best piece on electronic in my house. If it broke 3 times id still buy another but it's also has reliability so its just win all around.
