Beginning of next year actually. The devs wanted to put more in the game and iron out some bugs before releasing the game outside of japan. And when i say put more in the game i mean that they apparently want to add like hours more to it that will be a free download for those with the japanese version.

I see XIV lasting for a very long time, like an mmorpg should, because of it's updated graphics and technology. The other FF mmo was released near the end of the PS2s life, well the end of the Fat PS2s life anyway and it received little support outside of the pc market.
This new game gives them a chance to start over and it's welcomed by those like me who thought the other title as unreasonable with having to buy a PS...

Body shots are more effective plus you have to have you aim steady or some bullets register as a miss. Also, the gun you start with, the AK, is completely useless. The FIRST thing you do when you start playing is find one of the better guns.

The product wasnt ready (natal) and would've been a bigger hit at next years E3 considering it's possible release date of late 2010. Announcing something will be out the same year is always a bigger hit than, eventually.

Sony started the controller-free motion controls on consoles and them making another camera that was even better would make sense and flow in line with what they have BEEN doing.

It was on the PS Store and i thought it was multi but no, tecmo is making a gears clone exclusively for the PS3.

There was no thought in my head of "not" watching the video, i came here to read or in this case hear exactly what he had to say and i love video interviews because they're harder to "spin".

There's no problem in releasing these two in the same year simply because they cater to (mostly) different audiences. Not everyone that's interested in one is also interested in the other.

Of course they are, this means the possibility of more games being sold because this device isn't hacked, not out of the box/yet anyway.
Plus, for me and a lot of the original 1000 owners have been waiting on this. We wanted this to be the launch model really and i guess now is a better time since flash memory size has grown and lowered in cost so much in the last 4 years.
When the psp was first released and it's xbm said "Game" under an off the memory car...
If you now want a console that you did not have/want or had little interest in before E3 than that's the conference that won.
Of course sony fans are pleased, MS fans are pleased and even Ninty fans are pleased. All conferences had SOME god aspects if not ALL *cough* sony *cough* :)
