WTF? Not that it would be much higher but you'd think the "lasting appeal" would = the overall score.
You'd think Micheal Patcher reviewed this or something. I know it ain't AAA but geez, that's a really low opinion of the title, lowest I've seen so far in fact.
I've been keeping my expectations low for this one cuz I'm buying it either way but this is threatening my own judgment. Either way, I'm getting Star Ocean 4 too and FFXIII soon after so even if it's bad it won't annoy me for long.
That's just really bad to see, even if you don't buy games based on their review...

That doesn't make sense, based on the games source material there shouldn't be any sequels and the developers themselves recently said that there wouldn't be.

On the topic of upgrading:
My internal drive is 80gbs and because of having a 1tb external (@$100) I haven't felt the need to upgrade my internal drive. Making space for game installs should only be a problem for 40Gb owners as 20/60Gb owners had the cash for the early adoption price so a few bucks for an internal hdd upgrade shouldn't be too hard on them.

I watch that shower/robbery scene and those QTE don't look easy. If the presses are a challenge like what I saw in that video in all their high anxiety moments then it's a game in all aspects already. The fact that it has a phenomenal story shouldn't mean it should be considered less of a game.

That was JUST last month, this isn't too old.
Games should be on specially made SD cards, even they're made in sizes higher than dl-dvd now. Card reading is so much faster and uses less energy too.
Anyways, who cares how many disc the 360 version is own MOST of us will be buying this for PS3 in the first place.
Why burn or press these to disc before even knowing what a future hack may entail? The disc might need some special, pre-burn before the disc can be played or there might be a HDD playing hack. You may even need special, high end disc or something (verbatim).
What a waste of time and effort.
They're all very beautiful games and as a PS3 owner who plans to own them all I see no reason why these titles need to fight it out for graphics/visuals king. They are all very different anyways.
And this is coming from a self-proclaimed "graphics whore".
Just because this one isn't as linear doesn't make it a good game.
My biggest disappointment with this review is that they mention the game ends on a cliffhanger. I absolutely hate to play a game, get to the ending and be given some opening to a sequel instead. That SUCKS!
I'm sure FF13 is better, way better than this and I don't get how any of you think otherwise.
