This easy to port thing is becoming a huge deal already. Matched with self-publishing and I can see just about every noteworthy PC game heading to the PS4 if the devs have the money, time and motivation to do it.
The list of games is already huge and grows longer every couple days.

DriveClub is not a F2P game, it's a retail released game that has a version with less content in it (less cars and less tracks) made available as a free PS+ download for the launch of the PS4.
All the actual F2P games are completely free, none require PS+ and you don't even need PS+ to play them online. It's a win win win scenario, triple win ftw!

I was confused till I saw "part 2" in the title.

It has nothing to do with patriotism and has EVERYTHING to do with price and availability. The 360 came out a year ahead and was always cheaper to buy. People in the U.S. pretty much always go for the less expensive item and the one their friends have. This is the only reason 360 got big in the U.S.
Even Sony knows this and describes the U.S. market "price sensitive".

$4000 for 2 Daz songs actually really is an insultingly low amount, add to the fact that this game has made over a billion dollars and they went behind his back and used his songs anyway just makes it worse. Obviously the game isn't gonna get pulled from shelves but some higher amount is going to pass hands whether through court or settlement.

It looks really highly detailed, if you checkout the gamersyde videos from the conference and see what it looks like running in 60fps you'll be even more blown away.
