Flat out, your idea is better than all this FF7 shiz constantly. I played both back in the day when they came out. FF7 I finished 3 times, Chrono Cross not even once; yet I have fonder memories of it.
There is a reason Chrono Cross was rated a perfect game by a alot, while FF7 was almost perfect, shit even OPM game Symphony of the Night GOTY for 1997 as oppsed to FF7.

Just got back from activating Plus and buying UnderSiege for $10.
Kinda buggy. Got the 802 a bunch of times, just kept spamming the x button and going back out and it all worked. Even during buying undersiege, it kinda hiccuped and gave me an 802, then went I went back it already said I had purchased and only gave me the download option, so all is well.
