What size tv are you playing that game on and what resolution is it. If anything at 1080i the game looks identical to the pc version. Considering I am comparing 1280x1024 on the 19" monitor to 1900x1080 of my 51" tv. Which is whythe textues will probably look more sharp due to the resolution not because of the graphical quality of the game.
This and Halflife 2 are probably the best FPS games i've played. With fear getting a slight edge in graphics and enemy AI and physics.
My launch system failed but it was replaced within 3 days from MS all at their expense. When has Sony ever admitted to anything much less take responsibility for any of thier faulty products?

Anyone that complains about paying a monthly fee for a MMPORPG is clueless to the maintainance costs of such an operation. The games you pay a flat fee one time are not updated with new content monthly and do not connect you with everyone around the world in a massive world 24/7. And for those that think these games should be included in the $50 a year live service...thats just laughable. Considering the service that MS currently provides for $50 a year is already worth more than its cost....

If anyone buys a consol based on that spec chart then they are a true idiot. The bottom line is that the 360 and the ps3 are in a virtual tie for performace. So whatever games you like / want if they come on that system then you buy it. I will probably end up buying all 3 systems eventually with the 360 being my favorite one due to the games and a shtload of fps.

Toshiba should spend some money to have stores hookup their player to a specific TV. Because to be honest i was very disapointed with the HD-DVD quality but i know it most likely was the sht tv it was connected to. I found that samsung has their bluray player hooked up to one of thier new 1080p lcd flatpanel tv's while the HD-DVD player is hooked up to some random cheap hdtv. Which in my opinion the bluray in thatsetup was the best HD picture i have ever seen. This is probably due to the hookup in the store but alot of people wont realize that. I will be willing to invest in a player for $250 either side. If it goes down then oh well i lost my $250, such is life.
i would have to totally disagree with the comments above stating that you should have the same experiance on a standart tv or the game isnt worth buying. The game is much more stimulatiing to the brain when the visual quality is much more vibrant and defined. Since playing games on my 360 on a HDTV rather than games that are in 480p (xbox) the gaming experiance changed dramatically. I can pretty much compare this as i would a black and white tv to a color tv. Nothin like HDTV!
Its a lack of programming effort. The graphics processor in the 360 is supposed to surpass what they have for he pc for at least another year or so. I dont see any reason for these games not to be able to look better and run faster. Also Fear is definatly not the best looking game on the 360. i think we will see some of the real graphical power of the 360 when we get the exclkusive games made on the system ratheran ports. Mass Effect, GOW,Halo 3 etc.
