In all honesty i think the site gets so many hits and is so popular due to the flame wars. Its part of the reason i visit this site besides the up to date news. I think its somewhat enetertaining to see fanboys fight to the death lol. When i want to read constructive and somewhat boring content i go to ign. I think a healthy balance of constructive comments and flame wars is needed to keep an entertaining balance.
Any game released for windows and 360 should be considered exclusive. Considering MS owns both the Windows OS and the 360. So they are really competeing with nobody when a game is released on both platforms.
To compare the in game play to the CG trailer is totally laughable. If sony could actually make a game look like that CG trailer i would be the firt in line to pick one up. But that's in another reality and even the ps3 doesent have the power to pull off that realism. We may get close next generation.

Scrap the ps3 before it sinks the company. Then buy 360's put them in a black case and put a ps4 lable on it. Problem solved company makes money o each unit sold so they can survive the 1 game attach rate lol.
And the more PS3's they sell the deeper they go into the hole because they have a terrible attach rate because they only have 1 decent game out. Losing around $300 a system when they have sold 5 million it would have cost them somewhere in the neighborhood of $1.5 billion give or take a few million if they reduce production cost, which will not drop by much anytime soon with cell procs and bluray drive.
Could afford to lose money due to the substantial amount of money they make in ths OS division. Also note that MS did not lose as much as sony is and cut down cost alot quicker than sony will due to the technology involved. Lately Sony has not been in the best financial situation. There has to come a point and time when you cut your loses. I think it would be pretty ironic if they went the way of sega, consdiering it was sony that put the nials in their coffin.
has worked fairly flawless since i have had it. Alos its so confortable i forget its there fater a few minutes of gaming. I really dont understand how there can be so many isolated complaints when i havent experianced any of them with my set.

Why people are even buying the ps3 at this time. Other than resistance there is no other decent game that is not multiplatform. Why not wait till it has some good games and work out all the bugs?
A game like zelda with the graphics capable on the 360. Thats really the only thing that game lacks.

Its basically a gamecube with a gimmik controller. People who buy this machine will be casual gamers that like to play games with their friends at the same location. I dont see any harcaore gamer making this their only consol. I will also note that anyone with an HD TV can confirm tha 480p looks like sht on it especially if its large. Nintendo fanboys can flame me all they want but the wii is overhyped old tech.

They have to make up that $307 loss per consol somewhere huh? They survived all of thier previous failed formats i wonder if they can survive this one. At 5 million consols sold they will have lost somewhere in the neighborhood of $1.5 Billion dollars. Will a free online service, someone is going to have to pick up the tab and it will most likely be the consumer who is buying the games in the end.
