Point of comparison -- my facebook page is heavily videogame focused and regularly has tech/videogame items trending. There is no reference to Mario Kart 8 though.

Okay, I'm fairly interested in this game but Dualshockers is *obsessed* about it. I think every single article that has hit the front page about DD in the last couple weeks has been from them. Are they the only site out there that is excited for it?
I'm loving Don't Starve, but I agree that the beginning 30 minutes will probably get old pretty quick. Reminds me of old RTSs that start out the same every time. Gathering resources, building the same basic stuff, etc, until you get to the good stuff of advanced combat and impressive inventions/buildings.
That won't really do much. It is an LED light, so power usage is tiny. Will be nice to not have the light bar reflection on your TV during dark scenes, but it won't do anything for battery life.
Bigger battery is going to be the only real approach.

Warframe is crazy fun! Totally unexpected, didn't really know what type of game it was but I wasn't expecting a 4 person shoot and slash RPG with randomly generated dungeons.

Yeah it is clearly under development. I think after the mess that was R&C: FFA on Vita (delayed, delayed, delayed, bad port), they're waiting to do an actual confirmation until R&C: Nexus is running smoothly on the Vita.
Last time they had to give everybody a free game (R&C Deadlocked HD) to make up for the vita version coming out so late (and in such sorry shape).

300 dollars? How? You can get a vita for under 200 now.
Also, like others said -- the PS3 wasn't built for RP, but the PS4 is. Dedicated hardware chip for video streaming (which is how remote play works) means it is a default feature for PS4 games, devs don't have to program for it.
Good review, can always trust Pocket Gamer to treat handheld reviews right. Not sure why but I swear bigger sites don't know how to review Vita games....
Really stupid article. I hate these kinds of N4G links that try to hook you in with the implication that it was an actual discussion or that the patch was confirmed. It wasn't. It was just Rubin saying 'No'.
Also its from an interview that has been posted like a dozen times to this site. Really stretching to make an article from a 'no' answer in an interview that everybody has already referenced a bunch.
It's good but not amazing. I beat it in about an hour, maybe an hour and a half. There are some additional challenge modes, but I haven't played around with them.
For me, one of the things I noticed was how well it worked as a textbook for introducing new gameplay concepts organically. Each level introduce new concepts that built on previous ones and were integrated slowly over the level so that you naturally ramped up your ability. Not surprised it was a game designe...
