Worked fine for me.
Hahah, "You can't justify one rerelease and bash another".
Now *that* is the dumbest thing I've ever read. You really don't understand how one of something can be good, but another can be bad? So if I say 'Oreos are good', I'm not allowed to talk badly of any cookie out there?
That is just perfect. Thanks, made my day. :)
If they use the funds from this rerelease to make a real next-gen Sleeping Dogs 2, I'll be willing to forgive them. ;)
Fun game but this is the most unnecessary re-release yet. And 60 dollars is just ridiculous for a re-release of a two year old game.
The Last of Us ReMaster offered more hours of additional content (the DLC in Sleeping Dogs is fun but all three pieces can be beaten in under 2 hours total), a better visual upgrade, was a newer game, and a higher rated game - and it came out at 50 bucks.
Don't get me wrong, I loved Sleeping Dogs and played the heck out of i...
Oh nice, I saw previews using DS4s but nothing that confirmed that this was actually coming to PS4. Looks like a blast! Totally agree that it is reminiscent of noby noby boy...
Seems fun, but geez it is a bit complex to jump into. Outside of a couple super basic tutorial missions, there isn't a lot of handholding going on here.
I don't need info spoonfed to me, but it is kind of annoying having to do a lot of trial and error to figure out what situations call for what tactics. Thank god for the test runs.
Character and level designs are pretty cool, though at times I feel like this should have been called Crysis: Lawnmower M...
By far the worst score for this game so far. Most places are giving it a 7-8, though the controls are a constant sore point in pretty much all the reviews.
Some places had the same problem with Tearaway (joystiq) and Escape Plan. Touch controls inherently block the screen, after x years of playing games on touch screen devices, you'd think people would have come to terms with that.
Aggravating? Yes.
Deal breaker? Nah.
I've got 10 buck...
Hah! I'm the same with Sonic All Star Racing as well -- not sure what it is, but I liked it way more on the Vita. Funny how some games are just more appealing on handhelds.
I love this game on the Vita -- beat it a couple days ago. Never held my interest long enough on the PS3 for some reason, but on the Vita I couldn't put it down!
I agree that it wasn't smooth, but it was about on par with the PS3 version for me (bug-wise at least, got the camera stuck underneath the railroad tracks like 3 times in the ps3 version).
For me, the thing I like is touch screen controls for the action sequences. It makes it a lot easier to control using touch, as opposed to the analog sticks.
Kind of surprised that TWAU is coming to the Vita though, I figured it was DOA...
Don't think I've ever supported somebody dropping off Twitter as much as I do with Fish. Making a single decent puzzle platformer doesn't make the guy the authoritative voice on THE ENTIRE WORLD like he clearly thinks it does.
"The gaming industry is indeed being held back by the adolescent whiny babies that still plague the 'gaming community', the trouble is Phil Fish is pretty much the perfect example of this kind of whiny surly childish douche."
Exactly.
Cuz Kickstarter fraud isn't illegal.
Backers could probably file a civil lawsuit against the brothers, but they'd have to prove that there was never a plan to release the game in the first place -- and that would be hard to do.
The fact that they live in California but their business is 'based' in Texas and Florida would make it difficult to sue also, since backers would probably need to file suits in multiple states.
The guy...
Why is this a review?
A side character executes you in the very final scene as you lose control to the virus. It was crazy (and that is why you play a different character in the third game -- you play the guy who executed the main character).
Yeah, stupid article - oh geez, a game on two different consoles released 6 years apart run differently?! Gee, I bet the vita version doesn't run at 1080p/60fps also -- scandal!
What makes it extra stupid is that the game is a cross-buy on the Sony platforms, so anybody who buys it for the ps3 also gets the PS4 version. So they still get the version that runs at 1080p/60fps.
Bad flamebait.
I picked it up for 15 bucks off Gamefly the other day (PS4 version). Love their sales!
It's cross-buy?! That is amazing.
Hah, Jem! I used to work with him at Joystiq, good guy.
Wasn't the lead of The Crew just talking about how confident they were of the game's launch stability?
