The Show has always been a solid series, Sony should do more to push this game, to my knowledge it's the only MLB game in the industry that's a huge advantage, how popular is baseball in US in comparison to NFL /NBA ?
It's a nice game but I have my gripes, what happened to the option to pick your Styles ? I loved that in the original DMC games it added a ton of replay ability as well as gameplay variation why is it missing ?
Also the last 3rd of the game straight up sucks IMO, the game loses momentum and it just boils down to tedious arena battles, facing wave after wave of enemies, another thing is the Boss Battles aren't too hot either, they are tedious or frustrating some like ...
Is the Order a last gen game ? are there two versions of the Order, one running in 60fps one running in 30fps ? very poor example
Why all the disagrees he has a point, Duke 3D was a fun game don't get me wrong I had fun with it back in the day but the game was never doing anything original, In all fairness, take away Duke Nukem's F**K YOU attitude and what do you have ?
Games like Quake, System Shock and Half-Life were light years ahead of Duke 3D, the game was pretty dated by the time it came out, seriously people need to take the nostalgia goggles off, Duke 3D fun game for sure but compare...
It would be detrimental if any of the companies became obsolete, fanboy banter aside with Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo, it's the perfect equillibrium for competition, and competition is what drives gaming to better US as gamers all together, its a win win for everyone. Any fanboy that want's either Sony, Nintendo or Microsoft to drop out of gaming, isn't a gamer, but a corporate slave cheerleader.
I agree, has anyone looked into the director of this movie Kevin Munroe ? His track record sucks..TMNT, Dylan Dog: Dead of Night... apparently one of the worst movies ever made.
I'm going to assume it's because he's implying that Dead Space 3 was the best in the series, when it was easily the worst at least considered by fan's to be the worst.
I want Dead Space 4 on all next gen consoles, I just want them to go back to what made Dead Space 1 so great, Dead Space 3 was.....COD..ish.
"My point was that Sony fans are the ones who constantly bring up the power differential. I've yet to see people who bought an X1 complaining about their experience being ruined in COD because it renders in 720p or BF4 @ 900p."
You're right I agree, but this is what Sony fans were saying for YEARS with multiplats on the 360, where the differences were far more minor, yeah there were a few major hiccups like Bayonetta, The Orange Box, Skyrim (post patches the...
I didn't mind DmC it was a nice game but it just never felt like a DMC game, the art style, low difficulty, disappearance of gameplay styles the series staple, didn't sit well with me.
DMC4 wasn't a bad or even stale to warrant a re-boot, if anything the game is underrated, it's obvious Capcom ran out of ideas for series, and just tossed it to random western developers to squeeze something out of the IP.
Nintendo done the same thing with Metro...
Dude RE5 is almost 10 years old
The problem with the Vita is that it needs to find an audience, who is Sony trying to sell this console to ? as of right now it's turning out to be a peripheral for the PS4, which is a shame because games like Teraway fully demonstrate the potential of the system, and that's what the Vita needs more, weird unique games, that make full use of the handhelds qualities.
I agree with you to an extent, it's undeniably the best gaming hardware on the market, and I can't wait to buy one, but you have to understand that of all next gen systems the 3DS has been out the longest, almost 3 years, so of corse the AAA titles are already going to be available on the system 3D Mario, Link Between two worlds, Fire Emblem Awakening, and many more, the system will hit it's prime this year.
The difference being The Last Of Us is a LAST GEN game...LAST GEN, released on 7 year old hardware, Tomb Raider is also a LAST GEN game designed for 7-8 year old hardware, being re-released on brand new hardware at 60 dollars with the tagline "Definitive" yet it run's in 30fps, Killzone SF looks light years better, yet GG has that game running in 60fps, AC4 another last gen game for some strange reason runs at 60fps 1080p on PS4 and it looks better graphically, THERE IS NO EXCUS...
I really want him to go back to the lead director of the next God Of War, Acension was disappointing, he wanted to take the series to a more grander/ open world scale, think Zelda but with the GOW depth of combat.
Except that it's not a next gen game, it's a LAST GEN F***ING PORT SMH, there is zero excuse for this, no way in HELL am I spending $60 on a LAST gen port that can't even run in 60fps.
^^^
I kinda agree with everything you said up and till this
"The masses are just not interested in Nintendo games as it is evident from the financial results."
I think it's too early to make a statement like that considering neither Mario Kart or Smash has released just yet, really the to heavy hitters they have under their belt I think it'll give the Wii-U a huge sales boost despite that I don't think it's enough to...
The company is so out of touch with gaming/ and gamers it breaks my heart thinking about what they once were.
@kewlkat007
Why are people always bringing up games that are entirely different to a fast paced arcade military FPS ?
LoL and Dota 2 are a weird mashup between an RTS/ Action RPG, so of course you're not going to expect a huge player count.
Left 4 Dead is a 4 player co-op, Gears of War is a slow paced TPS, The Last of Us is a slow paced TPS with a huge emphasis on strategy and team work, despite their low player count these games aren&...
True, I somehow forgot that the Original Xbox was basically a trojan horse for PC gaming, still a much wider release wouldn't do any harm seeing as how Skyrim has created a huge fanbase for TES.
Well there you go, if MLB is as popular as you say, you would think a game with the right marketing and promotion could be a major seller, especially if it's bundled with the system with each yearly instalment, judging by the way Madden and FIFA sells.
The Show isn't some random cheap, welfare/food stamp sports game, for years now it's the most critically acclaimed Baseball game, and one of the best received sports games period. The tragedy is not many people are ...
