I used to love my gameboy when i was a little kid- now im a teenager almost an adult i love my vita :p see where im going here...? My vita has saved me from hours of what otherwise might have been boredom already :p and "saved" you from buying one- implies it would have been a disaster to have bought one which just isn't true -_-

@orpheus point is all the stuff you mention there cost a small fortune and most developers even when devloping on pc didn't optimise for those cards etc as they weren't the norm because of their high price; besides i think games like uncharted easily prove that theoretical values of power mean very little; it's about the skill and commitment of the developers

I'm guessing resistance will cause a spike, assassins creed will too whenever tha'ts out- when the COD game is released come october/november that coupled with xmas could easily see a MASSIVE spike; other than that we'll see which new games are announced next week and E3 and beyond; I'm assuming at some point a monster hunter will cause a big spike aswell :p

6 years ago my ps2 did stop me buying an xbox and instead i waited for a ps3 :P glad i waited for it's delayed release now :) but at the time i was unsure if it was the best idea
