actually god of war collection, ico, shadow of collosus etc can now be streamed to ps vita; and when you aren't even near you ps3 but via wifi (there is some input lag but i was on a slow connection soo....) i wouldn't be suprised if more games were added to that list soon like Rachet and clank hd etc and hopefully some new releases might get the feature from release who knows as far as I know only lbp2 supports the controller feature atm though
Look if sony sold a ps3-ps vita wifi bundle starting end of october- early november for about £300-£350 it should sell brilliantly... the vita could then be used as a controller for the ps3 and as the high end portable console it is; they would probably even make a fair bit of money on the vita games sold to people who originally probably wouldn't have bought a vita and were just looking to buy a ps3- back this up with patches for say AC3 so it can do what the wii u version can ...

you my friend are clearly a moron.... no one has said not even sony that people should go and buy a ps vita just to be used as a controller- also the back touch screen is used as l2,l3 r2 and r3..... so that's that point gone; however if you want to compare the wii u table (a controller) to the ps vita (a standalone console) then then vita will always win...- the wii u tablet remote isn't a tablet it has no proper actual processing unit inside it- the wii u box does all the processing...

you say that by the iphone 5 32gb and 64gb have a starting price of £66 a month here in the uk so I've no idea what they have in the usa but it must be similar- and £46 for the 16gb which I reckon would easilly be filled up so a video game for 80 quid suddenly doesn't sound so unreasonable; as long as the increase in quality/content is worth the extra money...
