I think one of the reason why is because it costs more to develop Video Games now than it did last generation and most developers are trying to cut back on spending as much as possible. Thus the reason why developers are porting games rather than building two different version of the games from the ground up because it costs less to port.
But it would've been better and easier for developers to use the PS3 as the lead rather than the 360.
I thought it's much less of a hassle to develop on the PS3 then port to 360 than develop on 360 then port to the PS3?
Actually, Monster Hunter became popular on Sony's PS2 and PSP. It's not until the recent MH (MH Tri), did a MH appear on a Nintendo platform. In fact all MH are released on Sony platform except MH Tri (Wii) and MH Frontier (PC).
I'm curious as to how this will work out on Live since there will be a subscription fee. Do you have to pay for Live and the subscription fee in order to play MH Frontier? I sure hope not...
It Can't Cure Cancer!
Are you going to get a PS3 for God of War III?
... and fire WADA! He had done nothing but ruining the image of the original Squaresoft. I pray for a day when Sakaguchi, Nomura, Tanaka, and Uematsu would all sit down and develop a game together again.
Yeup. Gotta agree with Dir_en_gray on this one. Too bad it isn't a full PS3 game, or is it? It could be a PSN game or maybe it's part 2 of Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida for the PSP. Looks like a really fun game nevertheless. Check out the video below to see the trailer of the first one. It has green monster and a pickaxe just Dir_en_gray mentioned. I'm just curious as to how Lilith will fit into this whole thing.
Chloe - "There's a hotel not far from here..."
Drake - "(laugh) Chloe, now is not the time"
Chloe - "It's easily the tallest building in the city"
Drake - "Right. Right, well, okay - that's uh, that's good thinking"
LoL! Priceless XD

I was reading over the live blog over at VG247 again. On one of the presentation screen, it says that you will be starting the game as the son or daughter from Fable II... And this is where it peaks my curiosity, because I'm wondering who will you be playing if you did not pick 'The Family' at the end of the game (if you played the game then you will know what I mean)?
Honestly, you should pick up Fable II. I would highly recommend it. The story isn't that great...especially the ending, but the gameplay is good enough to keep you entertained.
If you like Fable I, then I think you will like Fable II as well. Just be glad that you didn't fall into the hype like many other did.
Yea I thought Fable II was kind of easy too. But the gameplay was fantastic nevertheless, although it felt somewhat limited to me. And I hope to god that there would be a better ending to Fable III!
Fable III looks to be an awesome title to own for 2010. I love the idea of being the ruler of Albion and having control of the kingdom, I'm just curious as to how the story will fall out. And I'm really glad Molyneux didn't hype this game up as he did with the first two!

Exactly! This is why I love Sony and its first/second parties! They innovate and improve the progression of video games development. I remember back in the days when I used to play Super Mario World, Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, etc. I have always thought to myself how great it'd be to play video games that are like movies. And this is exactly what Sony have been doing.
They created a new experience for gamers. And so far for this generation, a majority of PS3 games are ...
Is there any image of Kate yet? I want to see how she looks like, because honestly, Milo looks like a girl with short hair...
Edit: Never mind, Kate is his dog. Pity...
You have to look at the bigger picture here. Sony is a huge company that have been doing this for many many years with Sales Executive that have garnered them plenty of money, I'm sure they've thought about this before you do.
As mentioned above, in order for a gamer to get full experience of the Final Fantasy Fabula Nova Crystal Chronicle (FFXIII Chronicle), they'll have to get the PS3 and PSP. Now think of it this way. A 360 owner goes out to pick up FFXII for his/her 36...
Hrmm... I thought the Dreamcast died because of piracy? I mean if it wasn't for the fact that you can easily copy Dreamcast game, mod/emulate the console to play the copied games, then I'm sure Dreamcast would be very much alive competing with GC, PS2, and Xbox. And was it not also the main reason why Developers did not want to develop games on the DC because they're not selling enough softwares due to piracy?
DC was a great system, I loved the idea of the VMU and playing Powe...
N3 II is shaping up to look really good. And with Feelplus supporting Q entertainment, I'm sure it'll be better than the first one.
If you click on the link, there's also a scan of Magna Carta II for the 360. Wasn't this game announced back in 2005 and was slated for released in 2007? What happened?

But I didn't get to play with the PS4 yet... :'(
I would rate LO and ToV about the same, but I'd honestly prefer LO over ToV as well, mainly because of the story. But the gameplay in ToV is better than LO in my opinion, at least it's more exciting to me and not repetitive like LO (thanks goodness they spiced it up on the 4th disc).
But I must say, Valkyria Chronicle blew those two out of the water, even though it's an SRPG. I just love VC! The game is just too addicting and it's an underrated game!
You should try importing Demon's Souls for the PS3.
They gave Star Ocean: the Last Hope an 8.5 but gave the International version an 8.0. Not to mention they added *poor voice acting* for the International version but not for the original version. And last but not least...*released at a bad time* as a con?! The reviewer even complained that the game is too traditional but yet they didn't mention anything traditional about the original version...
I understand that the game is a year old compared to the original version, and I cou...
