2. The Helghast shouldn't be shooting at you, instead focusing on your allies or shooting at a blank point.
This is just another option for you to clear/reach the objective.
But I can almost guarantee you that when most people read the list and notice games such as Finding Nemo, Ducktales, or Chip n Dale, they'd be going "WTF?" Most people would judge the game by its cover rather than its contents, but little did they know that those were some of the best adventure/platforming games of the NES era. Yeup. It's number one right now on the US Amazon Bestseller Video Games list. It's also number one on UK list and number six on Canada list, but the KZ2 Beanie is number 2 on Canada list. Why can't US and UK get the beanie as well? :(

The MP is addictive. It's one of the best MP I'd played since CoD4 and TF2. Basically KZ2 MP is a combination of CoD4 (Intensity, adrenaline style), TF2 (various objectives, variety of classes), and Socom (tactical, run and gun will most likely get you kill instantly). I used to play CoD4 a lot too, probably not as much as many since I'm only on my 8th Prestige, but I'm sure that's more than suffice to understand the gameplay elements of CoD4.
When you first pick up KZ2, most likely you will not be satisfied with the control (although it'd been mention in the beta forum that full controller customization will be added in the full version) because it's different from CoD4. Not that much of a difference, but it is different. IMO, KZ2's shoot...
Medic is actually a really fun class to play, if plays right. Your first ability as a medic is being able to revive heavily injured comrades on the field (those that are waiting to be respawn). When you revive that person, that person will basically just rise up with full health at the spot he was. You basically use a gun (somewhat like a tazer gun) to revive others and can also act as a soldier (with regular assault rifle), but you will die much quicker than a soldier as your armor is les...
And when you walk into a Gamestop, EBGames, or GameCrazy, all you see are GeoW2 ADs. Even Best Buy have a large counter/table full of GeoW2 and GeoW products out by the front door. As soon as you walk in, you'll see GeoW2 right there.
R2, LBP, and MS:PR are no where to be found. Actually out of all the Walmarts, Targets, and Best Buys I have been to, they're all out of LBP. Yeup not a single copy on the floor or in the docking station.

I'm in the beta and all I can say is KZ2 MP is the best MP I'd ever played. I have GeoW 2, R2, and LBP but I'm not touching any of those after I'd played KZ2 beta. That's how good the MP is. KZ2 MP gameplay is something I've been dreaming of for years. It has the gameplay and intense feeling of CoD4, and it also has the tactical feeling of Socom. This game is MP Shooter heaven to me.
I'm seeing what Sony is doing here for 09. They're actually releasing all the big hits in each different seasons. Killzone 2 for Early Winter, Infamous for Spring, Heavy Rain/GT5 for Summer, Heavy Rain/GT5 for Fall, and GoW3 for Late Winter. Oh please let it happen! I'll be in gaming heaven if it does happen like that! Non-stop gaming on the PS3...

But it seems to me that the media and critics are nitpicking and bashing KZ2 at every chance they got. I'd never once seen such negativity from the media in regard to one game before. As Casey mentioned, other games are getting a passed for not being innovative, but KZ2 is being called out for it.
