If it was like $20-$40 that'd be the only way it could be considered an LBP alternative. At least on PS3.
From what I'm seeing, it has PS2-like graphics. It's an open sandbox creation game and seems a little bland, lacking the character and personality that LBP has. This game needs its own charm.
Lulz :D
Should have, but Bungie is gone and no longer a first-party studio.

Rareware was the bomb. And they weren't exactly soft. They made Killer Instinct and Golden Eye.
I don't exactly like the direction that Microsoft has taken Rare. Even their logo has changed to something that looks like a prescription drug logo.
Lol good point :D
So what you're saying is: GT5 = GT1 in HD.
Thank you oh gaming guru, you have opened my eyes! :P
Can't wait!
- 70+ tracks ( from 20 countries )
- Tuning
- 16 players online.
Hours of my life will be sucked up by this game :O

@Baltis
Really?
There are huge differences between Prologue alone and GT5. Not to mention GT4 and previous iterations are big leaps in between every time.
Consoles collect dust because they don't need to be moved when you play them. So if you're saying that you don't play your Wii, then say just that :P

Didn't they promise that it will detect individual finger movements?
It doesn't do that anymore.
Kinect seems a lot less powerful than it initially appeared to be a year or so back.
Oh wow
Uncharted 2 improved on everything from UC1.
While Mass Effect 2 fixed certain things, but it became half the RPG ME1 was.
It was a great game, but it was somewhat overrated.
It's a $2 game. But if it's on XBL it'll be 400-800 points because it says "Halo" on it.
And let's face it, it'll sell!
The only gimmick(selling point) in GT5... is GT5 itself!
This game does not need anything gimmicky to sell :) IMO
Duh! lol. Yes it does.

This aren't new screenshots. Disappointed :(
Metroid: Other M is my top game for August.
Followed by Mafia II and Scott Pilgrim :)
Why someone disagreed with what I said is beyond me.

Why disagree with my previous post? I was only pointing something out.
Anyways, MS:A will be pretty fun to play :)
I think MotorStorm Apocalypse was in development before Split Second. Before they even finished Pacific Rift.
Though that's besides the point. What I mean to say is that it isn't too much like Split Second. It plays a lot like MotorStorm usually does actually.
Split Second has structures falling while in MotorStorm entire cities are collapsing, changing paths throughout the race.
Didn't know that. I know Sony published FF7, at least on the PS1.
Players are told what to do via headsets. They do little to no strategy of their own.
They took Rugby and made it retarded.
But how about in LBP2...? :P
Almost. The PS3 one has slightly better contrast and sharpness, while the 360 is slightly, just slightly blurrier.
I'm guessing it's just cause the PS3 version is in 720p.
