both xbl and psn should have some sort of reputation system that determines your access to limited content. "good" players should be rewarded by getting access to betas and limited stuff, while the "bad" people get nothing. whether or not you pay for a service is your choice but so is being an asshole online. i hate playing online games with people that ruin the experience for everyone else.

i hate to break it to you but the kinect isn't "sold" yet, gran turismo's gonna destroy any racing game in the foreseeable future, and mw2 dlc doesn't sell consoles. gears 3 could see a sales boost, but don't expect a huge year for ms next year from what they have announced so far.

i wonder if they'll scale the enemies up to the new cap. it sucked how if you were 61 only knoxx enemies would scale with you. i hope this scales all areas/enemies up to the cap with you this time around.
it might be dirt cheap on pc, but a lot of people(including myself) either don't like gaming on their pc's or don't have the specs for it. i'd also rather play on my 42" tv over my 19" monitor.

anyways, back on topic. i don't wanna knock on japanese actors, but they have some of the worst i've ever seen. they have some of the best voice acting out there, but their live-action is terrible most of the time. always tends to be overacted.

i don't see how there's really middle-ground for this level of violence... you either have w@w-type gore or you have mw2. it's not like you can have suggestive violence where you assume an arm or leg got blown off... it either happens or it doesn't lol
they both look good right now, but have different art styles. i'm gonna wait to see more on rage, though. those could be pc screens for all we know.
only 360 fanboys bring up numbers when judging(insecure much?). ps3 gamers are happy with what's available to them. and as long as said company is making a profit rather than losing, it's considered a success. just look at the gamecube. most people think it was a huge failure by nintendo, but they actually made a profit last gen~ while it's great to dominate a market, it's not a requirement to be successful.
they're not saying you can only play for 8 hours a week. they're saying after 8 hours the xp you gain will start to decline until eventually you get nothing. you can still find loot and stuff, though, so you can still find stuff for your character even though you're not getting xp along the way. i guess this is their way of keep everyone around the same level for the initial release, at least. it's an incredibly stupid move considering they're charging you a monthly fee, t...

i don't know why, but the fact they they took stuff out made me not buy this one... which is weird because i don't even care about the stuff that they DID take out. i think it's just knowing that it's not the "full" game =/ anyways, i'll probably pick this one up somewhere down the line, hopefully before the 4th one makes it over here.
