must be different in the states... in canada, walmart ALWAYS has eb'(gs) prices beat. a lot of good games come out at $40 at walmart while eb sells them for $5 more than all the regular retailers. not only that, at least you get a sealed copy at walmart =P

yeah, i'd have to agree that starcraft 2 had the new halo beat in terms of anticipation. halo is only being anticipated in north america. star craft 2 was being anticipated world wide for quite some time...

the uncharted 2 logo is fine, but the fake one is just cheap looking. they just took the original and photoshopped some cheap graphics to it. so yeah, nd makes better looking logos than the fake. not only that, nd wouldn't use xbox colors on their logo.
the game is popular, no doubt, and the first one is good, but it won't be the best game of the year when it comes out.

while i agree with you that it's too early to say this game won't PLAY as well as gow3, it certainly doesn't look better right now. i don't know which screenshots you were looking at, but the ones from the link don't look better than gow3. however, judging by your post, you're probably one of the 360 fanboys who claimed that alan wake looked better than uncharted 2. it didn't.
besides 360 fanboys, was there really any doubt that gt5 would look better? not really.
this franchise is friggin' awesome. i haven't been disappointed in any of them so far. the only thing i wish they'd do is maybe fix up the combat system a bit. other than that, though, it's a pretty solid game all around. i can't wait for 4 to come out over here~
well, you can have fun running on the spot, lag-jumping over hurdles, and frickin' standing up to drive(cause that makes sense /s). those things called "buttons" really ARE important for games.
they'll release zenogears eventually. no way they hold out on that one.
