The Valve f2p model is really good. You don't have to pay a dime or grind for hours to get items to boost your "skills". You just happen to want more hats so you pay money for them.
I just like how they're there. They give me points and I feel good about getting points.
You don't need to buy a new gfx card every year if you have a semi-cheap one. I'm still running a 650Ti (which I "upgraded" from a 460 - not much of an upgrade - a year or so ago) and it still works fine. But yeah, it is more efficient to buy a more expensive mid-tier gfx card over a cheaper one.
What I'm trying to say is that you don't really need a good gfx card to have med-high settings on most games.
What overrated buggy messes are you talking about?
You say it looks fun then say it's not the amazing game people think it is.
So you didn't even play the game. It's fun as hell. You should try it before dismissing the game as overhyped.
You use the mech to make space. You force other players to focus you down while your team takes objectives.
EDIT: This reply was for The_Infected. Whoops
And I will, thanks.
Super Smash Brothers could very well sell/save the Wii U. Hell, Pokemon is a system seller for the DS/3DS. I'm not sure if Nintendo stuff can truly apply for Sony and MS stuff but smb and pokemon are examples of the phenomenon (not of saving but smb could "save" the Wii U).
@1OddWorld
Well, the difference between tps and fps games is pretty big. It really does make a "new" game.
lol. I got a beta invite but was instantly turned off by the 21gb install file. Holy shit I ain't dling that for 2 days of play.
You could get a 3DS or a Vita (or if so inclined, a tablet or phone). Brand loyalty doesn't mean waiting for something that doesn't exist.
You could be a little less flamey and the world would be a little nicer.
Who says most japanese have gaming pc's?
The xbox 360 didn't do well in japan at all. Why would they take the risk and ship an unlimited supply of x1's? It'd cost a lot of money and MS probably knows that demand isn't that high.
The many low resolution block and axe building apps on the Play Store and App Store are evidence to this statement.
Well, you're not returning the game so there's that. To them, a game you're selling is a game you're selling. If they had to "value" games based on age and wear, then there'd be a fuck-fest of different prices. Also, your game is "pre-owned".
Really? Maybe the newer Nvidia cards are better with support. But as far as I know, my 650 (yes, a 650) can support BL2 PhysX fairly well while TressFX in Tomb Raider just killed my FPS from 60 to sub 30.
TressFX is definitely the reason that Tomb Raider only got 25 fps. That hair physics was designed for AMD cards.
I don't know. Those commercial spots are hella expensive. That could be a reason.
Welp, time to rush then idle. You can't tell me what to do.
I know right. The thing is, are War Thunder, World of Tanks, and World of Warplanes even considered MMO's? They don't have persistent worlds or whatnot that usually describe an MMO. The term is pretty vague but I wouldn't put them under the tag.
