I'm thankful for the homies. And doto
I say it's only bad if the retail game has microtransactions that lead to pay-to-win. Then, it gets nasty. If it just provides cosmetics, then I say that's tolerable.
If the MT provides bonus xp/money, then it gets a little nasty.
If it's straight up perks in-game (be it whole new usables: cars, guns, planes, etc., or some other form of perk that are better than what is already provided), then we have a problem.
Who says that manufacturer isn't reliable? Just because they're not a mainstream big-name?
Even if the manufacturer has less money than the "others", Valve is swimming in people's wallets. They could easily slide a couple Benjamins around.
Umm no?
The nice thing is that you can change those settings as you please.
Well, my point was that you're not uploading the whole game, which is what is actually copyrighted. Sure, the music (I seriously doubt the cutscenes are copyrighted) can be licensed as well but you're not exactly uploading the whole package, just chunks (with your scrubby writing and talking all over it). That's why people are allowed to upload small chunks of movies or TV shows or even music; it's just when they upload the whole thing, the whole package, that copyright agenci...
>implying that every business has an auditorium
When you say business, it's reasonable to think big (like Apple, Sony, MS, whatever) but it makes more sense that they were talking about small businesses.
Well, you're not exactly uploading the game. Just the video of the game. So you're not distributing a copy of the game, which means you aren't infringing on COPYrights.
That's why people aren't sued for using Twitch to upload themselves playing LoL, Dota, or some random FPS.
Twitch is really good for watching a tournament live. But that's mostly PC. I'm not sure what console gamers use Twitch for besides streaming pub games.
EDIT: "Who wants to tune in and watch others play games when you can play yourself?"
I have the answer in the form of a rhetorical analogy: "Why watch sports when you can play them?"
>people don't read.
@ bob A bettter cpu/gpu/ram doesn't make better cooling. It's how they're built that dictates the cooling through architecture design and chipset choice.
I'd also prefer an internal brick too, though. It's just more space to have an external, which is preferable even if it provides better cooling.
That's pretty observant. Not surprising from a design team (even if they're from the competition).
I never thought about console-controller "cohesiveness" before. Sounds like a legitimate point to make about design choice.
EDIT: I just remembered they talked about how the PS4 is slanted and how that doesn't quite fit in with other more rectangular objects a common household would have with a TV. If that was their mindset as they designe...
You can't put a cap on progress.
Maybe it isn't progressing too fast but we're adapting too slow.
It's the traders. He knew about the update beforehand!
Someone's entitled.
"gamer" and a real one at that.
So when your TV actually does turn on, you're not stuck at the "No Input" screen or a boot logo.
Yeah. You should've built a PC instead of buying one.
@^ Man, what's wrong with him? lol.
But anyways, that face is gorgeous (for Ryse). KSF kinda lacks detail and Crysis looks just green.
No time to shit in war.
They don't sell 60" monitors. That's a TV. Monitors tend to be have a higher price per inch than TVs because of their low latency.
So... expensive still.
