Same. There were performance issues, but I dug what I played. I loved the character variety and combos. Sadly, it seems if you say you like a game that's not the popular opinion these days, you get mocked.

Yep. People underestimate the pull of the MCU and Marvel to people. Anecdotal, but I had a friend who was pumped for the beta. Played it, and he loved it. Can't wait to play with his son.
I think the only drawback there is people being surprised that it's not MCU. But i'm sure Crystal Dynamics will have these MCU skins for sale at some point.

Gass games when done well are OK. It’s when they’re not that’s the issue. Most of the time, the MTX are tied to cosmetics which is optional. I don’t understand why people are so triggered by cosmetic in games.

I think with the success of Origins, WB Games Montreal was given free rein to do their own world. They've confirmed this isn't part of the Arkhamverse, which is nice I guess. Will be confusing for some of course.
At least this isn't as big as Modern Warfare. My guess is: actual download is 50GB or so initially.

GAAS done well isn't bad. I mean. it has a negative connocation but if it's done well, it's fine.

This is so complicated in that regard. I mean, some people see Apple as the villain here, while others see Epic as just wanting a bigger piece of the pie and using this lawsuit as an excuse, and as a pre-determined move.
