well when your console limited the sandbox atmosphere has to take into account the crappy hardware specs it has to work with.

Ps3 & 360 gamers don't care. 360 fanboys aren't really taking this news as smoking gun news I just see them poking fun at the other camp. Yet the ps3 fanboy's are acting as if the world is ending.
Could also force down the price of 5850's. It's not 8800 revolutionary but it's a darn good start considering how the rebadge game Nvidia's been playin the last few years.
All in all it looks like Nvidia is back on track. They just need to keep it up so that I can buy another 5870 for a better price.

6048x1080 is what I play pretty much all my fps games in now. For gaming
Eyefinity>3d because of the competitive edge you gain. When it comes to gaming the advantage you gain becomes the standard not the gimmick.

Don't know if this is Pachter saying this. But this is correct. Just look at the used gaming market. Developers feel they are entitled to some of the cash that flows through that market.
