I think there was an option where you could make the battle system like FFX. Meaning, when it was your turn to choose an attack, the enemies attack timer would pause and not continue as well.
The melee combat is a joke in this game. I literally completed the entire demo with no bullet kills but just strategically ran up to enemies and press the Circle button on my controller. Of course, in their defense it was on the 'Pu***' mode but still, it's a joke. No game under any circumstances should allow you to do that.
Until Chrome allows me to install all the add-ons I have currently installed on Firefox, I will not replace it as my daily browser. There, I said it.
Sadly to say, I for some reason paid full price for this game as well, day one purchase. However, it's not to say that this game was horrible because it certainly isn't. I had a great time from start to finish with the gameplay. The graphics is awesome for a multiplatform game and reminds me a lot of Gears of Wars.

OMG...how could they (including me) forgot about that one?! One of the main reasons I'm not using IE is because it doesn't have a free adblocker add-on like ABP. Good looking out.

why is a supposed 'professional' gaming journalism site like 1UP even talking about NPD and Killzone 2 when they know that the game was released almost at the end of February?! Shouldn't these journalist make these kinds of articles 'after' the next NPD data comes out for March? Wouldn't that be more fair?!
Opera was actually the first browser alternative I used back then when I finally got fed up with IE. I couldn't believe how much faster it was. When Firefox came around, everyone was switching. I initially refused because Opera satisfied my browsing needs. However as time went on, I saw how the add-ons for Firefox improved and was thinking, 'Hmmm, I could use that!' and then I jumped on board and never looked back.

IMO, FF exceedds IE in almost every way. Customization, speed, and security. I've read some pretty cool features in IE8 but Firefox will only get better as well and I won't go back to IE anytime soon.

The demo is already being experienced by thousands of PS3 gamers and they should have a general knowledge of whether the demo sucked or not. Now if these people had exclusive demo gameplay time then okay, but they played the same demo we got to and I'm sure a lot of people will say that it does not disappoint. Either way I have a feeling that a lot of people are scared because Feb. 27 is slowing creeping up....
I just finished d/ling the demo again but for the PC version. It came out to a whopping 1.8GB. I want to see if my computer can handle it. It did pretty good with the first FEAR so I'm crossing my fingers again. This series always played better on the PC than on consoles. Tried playing FEAR on the 360 and it just wasn't the same.

I've always thought the whole Alma thing popping up at random times was kinda scary in the first FEAR but keep doing it and it obviously gets pretty stale. I laugh so hard when people say that it was so scary, they couldn't finish the game or didn't want to continue. That is so freaking weak. The title menu part totally feels like COD4. Not that it's a bad thing but it just seems kinda weird how a lot of people compare the two everytime and then you get this.
I'm not usually stoked about multiplayer in games as I care about storyline and gameplay more but I have got to say that Killzone 2 is making me change my mind. The classes you get to choose is exciting indeed.
does not look better than Motorstorm. After watching HD videos of Motorstorm II in action, you can immediately tell that it looks better. Although I do have to say that Pure got features that Motorstorm II ain't got like tricks, ground up vehicle creation and more maps (48?!). But to say it looks better, I don't think so. Maybe the massive bloom effects are playing tricks on your eyes LOLLLL!!

Naw but really, this sounds like a really stupid idea. But hey, no one tried it yet so I guess you can still give them props.
If you are planning on sticking with that computer for a while, you'll want to look into buying an upgrade version of Windows 7 when it comes out. The advantage to that is it's usually cheaper than buying a full blown retail copy. The disadvantage is that doing an upgrade can be a headache as far as installation goes as a lot more things can go wrong than if doing a clean install.
The other good news for you is that the Windows 7 RC can be used for FREE up until around March 2010...
