Disagree with me all you want but even the KB commercials are getting boring. At first it was hilarious, no doubt about it but when you keep doing it and doing it and doing it, it gets stale even if they keep the same formula. For example, the new KB commercial advertising Killzone 3 with the two guys was not that awesome.
This can be compared with the Old Spice commercial with the African American dude. Funny at first but then you know what to expect from him the next time ...
It's declining maybe because many gamers just don't care about PC gaming anymore and have moved to consoles? That's one way to view this issue. I mean you can turn this into another PC vs. Console kind of thing but I just can't help but believe consoles have something to do with it. The only advantage I see when using a PC to play the same game I can play on consoles is due to keyboard and mouse control.
Like the guy above me said, Steam has been obtaining di...
Couldn't have said it any better. That is so damn true. I guess many players can't resist buying a game knowing that thousands of other people will also be playing it online almost on day one of launch. It's just so tempting for many...
At least that's what I believe in.
I'm currently on chapter 7 and I really don't see what's so great about the game. It's pretty much more or less the same as the first one so far. Heck even the weapons I'm using are the same as the first game. The story is too simple for my taste. Up until now, I'm just wondering from corridor to corridor with the same objective.
This is considered a horror game but unless you're like 12 years old or so, I doubt the game can scare you much. I don...
LOL...so true.
I ain't never going to purchase a Fable game (or any game from Lionhead for that matter) right off the bat ever again.
I'm not going to lie, I didn't finish Fable 3 because it was so piss poor bad. It is also because of Fable 3 that I'm done with the series as a whole. Fable 2, although bad, was forgiving other than the piss poor ending (if you can even call it that). I didn't play the original Fable but I have heard so many good things about it. Fable 2 was my introduction to the series. Fable 3 was just the killing point. I really can't believe how this game can gain any praise. However,...
Agreed. I just can't see myself getting "scared" while playing on such a tiny screen, even if its supposed 3D. Maybe if I used headphones and played only at night with the lights off but still, the big limitation here is the screen size. That just can't be compared to playing on a big screen HDTV with surround sounds turned up.
I couldn't bear to complete Fable 3. It was a horrible game and much worst than Fable 2. I think this does it for me. No Fable games in the future no matter how much boasting the Peter does.
HAHAHA....reading that made my day. Funny stuff whether true or fake. HAHAHA
FFS why can't people just STFU and have keep comparing games? I know both games are racing games but dammit they couldn't be any more different. Formula 1 cars get millions and millions and millions of dollars poured into the making of it and they are some of the fastest cars in the world. Gran Turismo is more realistic and isn't just limited to certain types of cars.
I love Formula 1 2010 and yes it does provide for a lot of adrenaline rush because I personally ...
What goes around comes around....
You think you can screw around with the fanbase just because you release a game, slap on the Final Fantasy title on it and expect to make millions? Times are different. I have absolutely no pity for them whatsoever. Final Fantasy XIII was a damn disgrace to the whole JRPG community, if you can even call it a JRPG.
I have a bad feeling that Versus will suffer from the same fate. I honestly hope not obviously, but with the wa...
I said I have played Fable 2 so I knew what to expect. I said what I said about Fable 3 not being a deep RPG game was just for others to know.
I stand by what I said.
I guess if you enjoyed Fable 2, then you'll no doubt enjoy Fable 3 as well. If not, then it's pretty much the same experience all over again with some tweaks. Hopefully the story will get better down the road. Right now, I'm just grinding money by making pie so I can rent out houses...
I have played the game for about 5 hours now and it feels completely the same as Fable 2, which I have played and was utterly disappointed. Everything deserves a second chance right?
The attack scheme is the same as before IIRC. Press X to attack (hold to block), A to roll, Y to shoot with range weapon, and B to cast one type of magic. No health bar, no magic bar. No XP system but they have replaced with by you collecting Guildseals which unlocks chests with special abilities...
with the article...However, I am willing to forgive everything bad about this game from the glitches to the old and reused game engine to the repetitive quests if only the shooting mechanics was improved. Like the article states, they still want to use rely on VATS and shooting down the sights is still pretty damn horrible in New Vegas as it was in Fallout 3. It just feels really weird to shoot with anything but the VATS system. I am a novice when it comes to aiming on a controller but I have...
one first-party studio had to go multi-platform, I would want it to be Insomniac. These guys are professionals and many other developers and companies should act more like them. They make awesome games and so I am glad they are expanding their horizon. Now, a lot more gamers get to experience what Insomniac is all about!
I am glad they stayed exclusive with Sony for that long.
Best of luck!
It doesn't even matter to me anymore. Fighting the same guys in almost every military shooting games are boring and so it really doesn't matter what the hell kind of name they give them. How many times must we fight in the same damn terrain of the middle east? Umm...obviously we are fighting the terrorist but it gets boring.
Why can't we invade the Chinese or some other form of government located elsewhere? Must it always be the same group of "enemies" ...
At this point I really don't give a crap! Just give us the game! It will never be released if they keep deciding to add on features to already what they already have, which to say is already impressive. I'm not saying to halt all development once the game has shipped. Can't they just implement other ideas to DLCs or game updates? Isn't that the whole point of those things?
Gamefly my friend....Gamefly....
I smell bitterness....
But anyways, I don't know much about MMO's or MMORPG's to talk about it but wouldn't A.P.B take the crown for the worst failed MMO ever?
"Fable III is without doubt one of the best Xbox 360 games of 2010....."
Stopped reading right there.
