As predicted K3 definately won the NPD battle over Bulletstorm with K3 selling 279.9K and Bulletstorm selling 285.6K but combined on all systems.

Halo Reach..was released 6 Months ago with over 7 Million sold and has 1.5 million+ playing everyday online
Mass Effect 2 was released over a year ago with 2 million+ sold and the final round in the sequel is THIS November

Spending 2-3 years building a new engine from scratch..before you start on your new game that won't even matter because in 2-3 years we will ALL be talking about 3 new consoles
or
Spend all of your resources building upon the existing engine and create the best game you possibly can, with all of the high prodution values that Call of Duty fans can expect.

This is one of the strongest years in gaming as developers are releasing all their big guns..
