They asked him to write a number on a piece of paper and it was too high, I guess.
Even if you won, the game would basically scold you if you didn't shoot every little cabinet and beaker in that Cyberdyne level. "Judgment Day still possible" or whatever.
No one actually reads the reviews. They just tear their hair out if it's less than 9 or do an end-zone dance if it is.
That is bias. I'm not saying 3/5 is an accurate score, but refusing to accept criticism of a game? Grow up.
I'm more curious about the exact sales numbers than the ranking. I imagine they'll be tough to get though because Dawn of War 2 probably sold a bunch digitally.
I had heard it was coming in March previously. Doesn't seem unlikely. This game's really snuck up on me, though.
Actually, the only game to have unseated Lich King before Dawn of War 2 came along wasn't a newcomer - it was Sims 2. Hence, Dawn of War 2 is the first new game to do so. And yes, it's as much of a testament to Lich King's appeal as it is to Dawn of War II's.
Well, newcomer in the sense that it's a new game that was just released.
I don't think they'll have attack dogs if it's a modern warfare game. I agree about the tanks though.
Valve has said numerous times they're working on a large update that will include several of the class updates at once.
And cut their sales by millions? No dice. Hell, World at War had PS2, Wii, and DS versions.
Wouldn't surprise me. N4G's dependent on what folks are approving at any given time.
Yep, it's a special game.
Yes, they did. I was surprised to learn of that, too. That one was supposedly bad but it was like a 5/10, whereas this is...bleh.
Grats, you spammed more titles than he did.
The game does sound good on paper. It's just tough getting people to switch MMO's when they've put so much effort into building up their characters.
No, it doesn't need to beat the DS to do well. But that's the bizarre match-up that this editorial's making.
Comparing January 2008 and January 2009, PSP sales were down 25% and DS sales were up 99%. The DS also has a lead of about 50 million units sold.
But whatev.
Good call. That'd be a good one.
Word. That game is dirt cheap to begin with.
