All I've been playing are indie games on Steam. Now seeing what Sony has to offer, looks appealing and a breath of fresh air from all these stagnant games. A nice mixture of games.
I think the Vita is just there to play your PS4 games on the go. Like using remote play when you are 1000 miles away.
You only have 3 console to choose from. Between Wii U tablet peripheral and Microsoft blunder at E3. The choice was easy for most people. The price point for a cheaper and but more powerful hardware, and the dedication of plethora of interesting games was the reason for its popularity.
I'm all for 10/10 but 11/10 for story is ridiculous, should be consistent with the other scores. Unless that 11 came from the DLC.
What you are paying for is a new experience with smoother game play and upgrade graphics, remastered dlc included(newcomers). It being overpriced depends on the experience you got from the game.
It is one if those games where you can have a intellectual debate among the community about. The fact people talk so highly of is a great achievement, and a window on how it effect people emotionally to discuss their experience.
Sony usually use E3 to concentrate on holiday season offerings, and these events on regional specific devs and next years games.
Most of those games would only need a day to complete. If they have a 24 hour timer on how much playing time you have left would be better. Who is going to play a single player game for a week?
I rather they make it $1.00 for that 4 hours. Steam sales are almost the same price as the 7 days rental. What the point in renting the game when you can purchase for almost the same price elsewhere.
Why the hell did it jump from $2.99 (4 hours) to $5.99 (7 days)? They should at least give you free credits to try out a couple of games when the beta launches. I hope that subscription model come soon.
I think they can since those are old games no one can find anymore. It will be nice residual income for those developers who own the ip.
Ps3 was the cheapest blu ray player coming out. The exclusive was untouchable quality wise. Free multiplayer experience, and apps are not behind a paywall. Sony never left their core gamers like MS did with the Kinect.
The Xbox One lost its mulitplats advantage, and blu ray is the standard. Their exclusive games are yet to be proven. They started with the worse E3 the world has ever seen.
Their problems would be fitting all that on the cpu while maintaining acceptable tdp and die shrink.
But if they are not targeting enthusiasts, I hope they allow crossfire configuration with their higher end graphics cards.
Better hope gran turismo doesn't come out 1080p 60fps or people will call them lazy
Those Skyrim mods are amazing. Well he should stop releasing mods to the public until the trolls are desperate and envious, then they will shut up for awhile.
Should just keep the mods to himself and display it on YouTube.
Even if this was a free, I wouldn't go see it.
Yea, if they can make it easy and intuitive then I can see it really taking off. I'm always better off using my hands to create something than using a controller because I feel like I have more control.
Of course the Xbox One has a chance, but they can't rely on 3rd party games to sway customers because it will always run better on the PS4. Xbox One need exclusive games to entice the public on why they should buy the Xbox One. Sony has first party exclusive + indie support which means the PS4 will be able to play most indie titles that appear on steam and real exclusive that you can't play anywhere else besides the PlayStation platform.
The face look like the one at there demonstration of those clay models they use for the rock band type presentation.
I say it is a great marketing strategy. Let say your friend went on vacation and you wanted to play said game. Since you don't know anyone else who has the game, and you enjoyed what you played so far. What not to say you wouldn't purchase the game for yourself after having enjoyed the experience.
