I'm a 360 owner and I'm very interested to see how well GT5 sells.
On one side you got past sales numbers of other GT games and they are huge,
But on the other side ... this gen competitive FPS's are the top sellers on both on 360 and PS3.
I made a bet with one guy on this site that COD: BO on Ps3 would sell more then GT5.
As far as co-op "Campaigns" ... I'm not sure what Rock Band 3 deserves to be number #1
And how could Halo Reach not be up there??!
Rainbow 6 was awesome for some co-op too!!

Sony shipped almost 3 million.
We will see the true sales numbers come NPD in January.
But so far, i think MS is gonna brake sales records this quarter thanks to Kinect .... slim 360, and Halo Reach
Spyro, Crash and Solid Snake have been on other consoles.
Rachet seems like a contender since it was on PS2 ... not sure if it was on PS1.
Drake is new this gen .... he can be the mascot for the PS3, but not Playstation.
A mascot should be associated with an exclusive blockbuster franchise that sells extremely well cause it has worldwide appeal.
Nintendo has Mario .... then Link, and Samus.
Xbox has Master Chief ..... and this gen Marcus Fenix is getting up there too
But Playstation doesn't have that one big blockbuster game with an iconic hero.
There is GT, but that's a sim and times have changed and I dont expect a sim to sell as great as the FPS's on...
Especially after seeing the GT5 vids of the ultra-realistic rollovers and crash damage of your car heading straight into a wall at 100mph only to shrug it off like bumper cars.

The 360 controller is perfect except for the d-pad which they fixed recently but fr whatever stupid reason, they don't bundle it with the new consoles.

I live in little azz Jersey and maybe I know like .05 that live in my state, but what's funny is that I already know 4 people the have Kinect. I went to 6 stores this past sat to buy one but they were all sold out.
I'd bet another Nintendo and Microsoft console by Fall 2012.
And for now ... all I can do is wonder how awesome the specs would be and how awesome the games would look and how smooth they would play.
Being an Xbox only owner ... i think thats all the games i'm looking forward to for 2011 ... and maybe Duke Nukem Forever.

The exclusive games show at the TGS were pretty much all hardcore.
It's funny although most gamers here in N4G are against both MOVE and Kinect ....
Secretly, every Xbox fan here wants Kinect to outsell MOVE and the Sony fans want MOVE to outsell Kinect.
But in either case Sony fans got all the excuses locked down just in case Kinect does sell more;
1. As expected with $500 in marketing
2. Justin Beiber
3. Xbox owners are sheep
4. MS are giving them away and counting them as sold
Etc etc...

If Kinect is compatible with PC, then I'm expecting some interesting games and sex sims.
The only thing I can think of is using voice as an button.

Kinect is going to outsell MOVE ... no doubt.
But I still expect awesome innovations from Sony ... good to see they're getting ready for the next big gimmick in gaming. Maybe for next gen. .

Try finding the stand alone Kinect online. You can find MOVE but not Kinect.
Oh, and it's funny how nobody was even interested in trying MOVE at the local Best Buy, and when I showed my girl the MOVE controller she lol ... and I think you already know why.
Anyways... kids like you are gonna be butthurt by years end when you see how Kinect sold compared to MOVE.
This past Sat I went to best buy, tried it out and thought it was fun. It was sold out at best buy that day, they assured me they would get another shipment Sunday. I went to like 6 other stores; target, best buy, Gamestop(s),, walmart, PC Richard ..... all sold out. Can't find anywhere online that is selling it at it's $150 price. And EBay and Craigslist is already selling them at a profit.
I'm sure I'll find it soon enough... I mean, it's not like anoth...

No way is L4D > Halo3 ..... as far as campaign. I played the Halo3 campaign 3'times with different friends and always great times.
L4D is more competitive and repetitive.
