It's a shame, but I don't think it's the games fault, its the PS3 owners. They just don't buy games as much as 360 owners do.
I mean, ReFOM2 hasn't even broke 500k in two weeks! WTF
I don't have a PS3, but I like what LBP brings to the table. Innovation, endless replay value, great graphics, and it's the highest rated HD console exclusive.
I understand where you coming from about nickel and diming but I think they are doing this more to prevent people from just renting games or wanting to sell their games after they complete it to Gamestop. By adding DLC it ensures the customers will want to hold on to their purchase and will be eligible to get more from their purchase through DLC.
I see this happening with many games in the future.
It's like Halo3.... you know how Bungie keeps supporting the game ...
so you want to get a ps3 for your folks, yet you have to work all these overtime hours, and your struggling because you only get paid by-weekly and you want them to put it on hold? what, like lay-a-way? Are you serious?

I voted for the family bundle. If they notify me that I'm elible to try and purchase it, I will most definetely try to snatch it up.
I had the problem with far cry getting stuck at 62% and I actually submitted the new thread here on N4G to address that problem. In order to avoid the problem, all you have to do is make a new save everytime instead of overwriting the same save file over and over again like I did.
After a couple of weeks of not even wanting to pick that game up again, I did start playing it again last week and finished it a couple of days ago. And I gotta say, it really is the most immersive FP...

huh?....it's up for FIVE awards, including Graphics and GOTY, and HELL YEAH it looks better than MGS4..... the only game looking just as good, if not better, is Killzone 2.

again, this is GTA..... do I have to keep pointing out what that means? Rockstar takes a lot of pride in their work, and they want the DLC to be worth the money.
It's easy to say GTA4 was garbage or it sucked, if your one of the poor kiddies without a 360.
But think about it... GTA4 is the highest rated game this gen, it will most likely win the majority of 2008 GOTY awards, its the best selling game on PS3....... and has Rockstar ever really disappointed when it comes to the GTA franchise? Has any GTA sine GTA3 scored lower then a 95 on metacritic? Isn't GTA the best selling franchise last gen? Isn't GTA4 the best selling game of 2008?...

We all know for fact that if it was the other way around and the 360 was getting screwed without the DLC, you kiddies would be singing a much different tune.
the games they picked on the list isn't a fair comparison. If your going to include games from the PSN, then you should include games from LIVE.
Just using Braid and geometry wars 2 puts the 360 at a much higher overall average.

But I was curious to know where this KID got his info that it was multi-plat. I could care less if it is, especially since the others were. Spinlter Cell is not a true exclusive to the Xbox brand, same way MGS is not a true exclusive to the Playstation brand.

The 360 had two heavy hitters this holiday season, Gears 2 and Fable 2, and so did the PS3, ReFOM2 and LBP.
All these games were promoted as AAA titles should be promoted, yet the sales for ReFOM2 and LBP are utterly PATHETIC!!!
